10.Fantastic 4 (2005 – 2007)

After defeating Von Doom, the Fantastic Four can really enjoy life more. All four are now comfortable with their new powers. The original comic for this film actually come out 1961 by Jack Kirby and editor/ co plotter Stand Lee. I really like both films a lot because it isn’t just nonstop action as it is a character driven type of film and action packed with a star-studded cast, the comic timing is just spot on and sheer entertaining.
9.From Hell

In Victorian era London, a trouble clairvoyant police detective investigates the murders of Jack The Ripper, the comic originally released in 2012 by Jean – Charles Poupard. This film is utterly compelling with a whodunnit type of film and the atmosphere is spot on, the casting is superb, the premise of the film is well told in this thoughtful film.
8.Judge Dredd

In a dystopian future, Joseph Dredd, the most famous Judge is convicted for a crime he did not commit and must face his murderous counterpart, the comic book of this film is released in 1977 and it by John Wagner and the editor is Pat Mills. I always remember this film as it is action packed, thrilling and with a brilliant story and the acting is spot on.
7.The Mask

Bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss is transformed into a manic superhero when he wears a mysterious mask, There is also a comic book of this film and it was released in 1987 and it was by Doug Mahnke and John Arcudi. A superior tale with the comic timing and the casting is superb in this exciting, thrilling and with a mixture of computer wizardly and it look attractive.
6.Pokemon, Detective Pikachu

In a world where people collect Pokémon to do battle, a boy comes across an intelligent talking Pikachu who seeks to be a detective, the comic book for this film actually released in 1999 by Toshihiro Ono. This film is absolutely amazing and so realistic and the voice casting especially Ryan Reynolds is so hilarious, the visual and the special effect are out of this world in this well-meaning film.
5.Road To Perdition

A mob enforcer’s son witnesses a murder, forcing him and his father to take to the road, and his father down a path of redemption and revenge, I did not know this at first as there is a comic book of this film as the comic book actually released in 1998 and it by Max Allen Collins. This film is majestic and brilliantly acted with a superb story, it often very intriguing and moving at the same time.
4.Superman Returns

Superman returns to Earth after spending five years in space examining his home world Krypton, but he finds things have changed while he was gone, and he must once again prove himself important to the world. The comic book is actually based on the Superman films and it was released in 1930 by Jerry Siegel, Whitney Ellsworth and Alvin Schwartz. This film is majestic and the cinematographer is gorgeous and the acting is superb, it also have a star-studded cast and a really good story and it is very character driven.
3.Big Hero 6

The special bond develops between plus sized inflatable robot Baymax, and prodigy Hiro Hamada. They team up with a group of friends to form a band of high – tech heroes, There even a comic book of this very movie and it was first released in 1998 by Steven T Seagle and Duncan Rouleau. This film is touching, funny, thrilling and generally heartfelt plus you will be entertained from start to finish.
2.Batman (2005 – 2012)

After witnessing the death of his beloved parents in front of his face, billionaire Bruce Wayne vows to protecting the good people of Gotham City. The comic book who inspire the film is actually released in 1940 by Bob Kane and Bill Fingers, All of these films are magnificent and superb and the acting is spot on. The storytelling is expertly told with creepy atmosphere in these films and it certainly entertained you.
1.The Adventure Of Tintin

Intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor, The comic of this film is first released in 1929 by Herge who original named is Georges Remi. I personally loved this film as it got a superb story and character driven in this motion caption style of filming, it has got a superb casting as the characters that is so realistic and match their personalities in this charming adventure film.
Great list Mark. Reading Tintin books was one of my favourites growing up.
Of the modern ones, I thought Deadpool, Venom, and Doctor Strange were a bit different to the others.
Judge Dredd was too violent for me.
