5.On The Basis Of Sex
The true story of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, her struggles for equal rights, and the early cases of a historic career that lead to her nomination and confirmation as U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice. A well made and insightful film that is important for this generation and it from a female perspective, it is highly compelling and utterly believable and with strong acting and overall this watchable.
A young silver dragon teams up with a mountain spirit and an orphaned boy on a journey through the Himalayas in search for the Rim of Heaven. Surprisingly this is rather good in this gorgeous looking animation film, the story is simple but it has got a fantastic soundtrack and it is one of those film that will put a smile to people faces, the vocal talent is amazing in this fun filled film.
A balloon pilot and a scientist find themselves in a fight for survival while attempting to make discoveries in a gas balloon in the 1860s. This is generally exciting and it will gripped you from start to finish, it is character driven and it never get too overcomplicated with so many flashbacks, it also gel together in this action-packed film which is certainly captivating.
2.A Monster Calls
Twelve years old Conor O’ Malley must face his mother’s terminal cancer by seeking answers from a tree – like monster. Normally with terminal illness film they not as good but this one is an eye opener, it also balance the fantasy elements and this deal with grief and everyone should witness this film, the acting is amazing and that is the key to this film as it work really well.
1.The Theory Of Everything
In the 1960s, Cambridge University student and future physicist Stephen Hawking falls in love with fellow collegian Jane Wilde. At 21, Hawking learns that he has motor neuron disease, despite this and Jane at his side. One of my favourite film as this is sincere, moving and poignancy film which is close to my heart, it about someone who overcome obstacles and they break the barrier to have a better life, it is a relatable film which is life affirming and it leave you a lasting impression on you.
