The story of King George VI, his impromptu ascension to the throne of the British Empire in 1936, and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch overcome his stammer. For me personally it’s the chemistry between Geoffrey Rush and Colin Firth that actually work, the acting is superb and especially Helena Bonham Carter, overall this is really intriguing and insightful.

4.Planet Of The Apes

In 2029, an Air Force astronaut crash lands on a mysterious planet where evolved, talking apes dominate a race of primitive humans. I vaguely remember this film as I growing up watching this film, the CGI/SFX is absolutely amazing and it is totally engrossing, the pacing is just right as it is watchable from start to finish.

3.Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street

The legendary tale of a barber who returns from wrongful imprisonment to 1840s London, bent on revenge for the rape and death of his wife, and resumes his trade while forming a sinister partnership with his fellow tenant, Mrs Lovett. Too be honest with you I really admire this musical as it try to be something different, there are catchy tunes and with an all star cast in this gorgeous looking film that blended horror, musical and comedy, for me personally it work really well.

2.Dark Shadows

An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins, is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection. Well it might not be for everyone but this is colourful and a star-studded cast, it is different and really quirky in this good-looking film that certainly hold your interested, it also generally funny and charming with a cool soundtrack.

Wallace and his loyal dog, Gromit, set out to discover the mystery behind the garden sabotage that plagues their village and threatens the annual giant vegetable growing contest. Pure escapism type of film that will made you happy, the vocal talent is amazing and brim with comic one liner. overall this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, it is exciting, charming, thrilling and a really nice film.
