A young Mermaid makes a deal with a sea witch to trade her beautiful voice for human legs so she can discover the world above water and impress a prince. Too be honest with you at first, I wasn’t so sure about this film but this grows on me, for me personally it’s Nora Lum that made this film funny in her role as she vocal a bird called Scuttle, plus the rest of the casting are convincing in their roles. The film itself look gorgeous with stunning scenery and the visual is amazing, with certain songs they can be generally powerful, but unfortunately the villain isn’t memorable and I partly wished there is a mythological about the mermaids and the humans’ aspect as it feels not enough backstory, plus some of the songs doesn’t really work. Despite that this is suitable for a family viewing type of film and this is well – made.

The singing in the movie is so beautiful. I can’t wait to watch the whole movie!!!
