Three Thousand Years Of Longing

A lonely scholar, on a trip to Istanbul, discovers a Djinn who offers her three wishes in exchange for his freedom. Firstly, I admire this film that try to be something different and it is colourful, for me personally it’s the pacing as it doesn’t hold your interest, it not as subtle as it can be and it is full on for some people, the film itself got potential and it has got a good story and I just think it doesn’t gel and flow together, that is a real shame and the idea is there plus it just doesn’t work.

Finch

On a post – apocalyptic Earth, a robot, built to protect the life of his creator’s beloved dog learns about life, love, friendship and what it means to be human. I wanted to like this film and I really like Tom Hanks a lot, with this film it falters from the start but in the midsection, it is getting slightly better, the film in general is rather uneven in certain places and it not as character driven as it suppose to be, the ending is okay and surprisingly effective despite some of the film doesn’t deliver.

Black Adam

Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptians gods and imprisoned just as quickly – Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world. Underneath the action there is a brilliant story and it is well casted, the pacing is perfect and it does hold your interest, the thing is this film take itself too seriously and it not as fun, the set pieces are amazing despite of these flaws and it is entertaining.

The Good Dinosaur

In a world where dinosaurs and humans live side by side, an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. Cute and heartwarming film with stunning scenery and it got a easy to follow story, it might be the weakest Pixar film as this is not relatable enough and it is too safe, it not quite laugh out loud funny and it doesn’t really move you, it isn’t a bad film at all and it is likeable and I just feel it doesn’t really deliver, despite that it is suitable for all ages.

Love And Monsters

Seven years after he survived the monster apocalypse, lovable hapless Joel leaves his cozy underground bunker behind on a quest to reunite with his high school sweetheart. Too be honest with you I was surprised with this film, you care about with these characters and this film will move you and this is heartfelt, it balances the darker element with the comedy aspect and that does work, the midsection falters just a little bit but this film will surprise people.

She Said

New York Time reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who together broke one of the most important stories in a generation – a story that shattered decades of silence around the subject of sexual assault in Hollywood and impelled a shift in American culture that continues to this day. Once you watched this it will stay with you and it slowly creep you under your skin, it got that psychological edge as this is a slow burner type of film, the acting is amazing and totally believable, the pacing is perfect and it will drawn you in and this will leave you a lasting impression on you, this is well made and overall this is a perfect film.
