10.The Matrix

When a beautiful stranger leads computer hacker Neo to a forbidding underworld, he discovers the shocking truth – the life he knows is the elaborate deception of an evil cyber – intelligence. I watched this film in my teenage years and I thought this is rather good, it got element of a dystopian film as it is dealing with the society aspect, it tries to be different which I admire and the visual is outstanding, overall, this is entertaining and exciting at the same time.
9.Shaun Of The Dead

The uneventful, aimless lives of a London electronics salesman and his layabout roommate are disrupted by the zombie apocalypse. A film that didn’t take itself too seriously and it got a fantastic cast, it is an all-British film and this can be rather funny and the chemistry is spot on, the characters are likeable and it brim with comic one liner, this film can balance the darker moments with the comedy aspect and for me personally it’s work, this is superb and a well-made film.
8.Zombieland

A shy student trying to reach his family in Ohio, a gun – toting bruiser in search of the last Twinkie and a pair of sisters striving to get to an amusement park join forces in a trek across a zombie – filled America. Being another zombie’s apocalypse type of film and it has got an all – star cast. The story is brilliant and this is another comedy film with the right balance and it certainly work, it also brims with comic one liner and this is funny as well, with this film this is superbly made.
7.Isle Of Dogs

An outbreak of dog flu has spread through the city of Megasaki, Japan, and Mayor Kobayashi has demanded all dogs to be sent to Trash Island. On the island, a young boy named Atari sets out to find his lost dog, Spots, with the help of five other dogs with so many obstacles along the way. Don’t judge this film whatsoever as this is quietly powerful and totally memorable, it might be too surreal and weird for some people but it needed it, if you wanted something different this is ideal for you, in some ways this a dystopian film as it set in a near future of Japan.
6.The Maze Runner

Thomas is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they’re all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow “runners” for a shot at escape. Fantastic looking dystopian teenage type of film and this is unpredictable, the main lead is likeable and this is eye catching from start to finish, it is perfectly paced as it does hold your interest and this is never boring, this is the best one in the trilogy of these films.
5.Edge Of Tomorrow

A soldier fighting aliens gets to relieve the same day over and over again, the day restarting every time he dies. One of the best Tom Cruise films as the film setting in a dystopian world and it is action packed, but the good thing is it never loses the story to this film and it work perfectly. It might be rather full on for some people, but if you are a fan of action with a slight difference this is ideal for you, this is fun and this is certainly entertaining from start to finish.
4.A Quiet Place

A family struggles for survival in a world where most humans have been killed by blind but noise – sensitive creatures. They are forced to communicate in sign language to keep the creatures at bay. Quietly effective film which set in a post-apocalyptic world as this is unpredictable, the first hour is amazing and this is a slow burner type of film, you will care about with these characters as they are relatable, this is super creepy and this is silently drawn you in from the first frame.
3.Away (2019)

A boy crashes and finds himself on a strange island with his motorbike, where he quickly befriends a bird. Together they cross the various landscapes of the isle in search of their home. With stunning scenery and this is colourful and it set in a post – apocalyptic world, this is magnificent and this is a silent and a weird film but it needed that, it might be rather surreal for some people but this is beautiful and a sincere film, the animation itself is gorgeous to look at in this film.
2.Chaos Walking

In the not-too-distant future, Todd Hewitt discovers Viola a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display. Personally, I don’t really get the hate for this film as this feel totally epic, it also set in a dystopian world as it feels like a futuristic action film that mixed in with a great idea, the set pieces are truly spectacular and this is thought provoking, it will made you think at the same time, the ending is superb and the two-lead got great chemistry together.
1.The Mitchells Vs The Machines

A quirky, dysfunctional family’s road trip is upended when they find themselves in the middle of the robot apocalypse and suddenly become humanity’s unlikeliest last hope. Too be honest with you I was surprised with this film, this is heartfelt and it will move you and it got great characters and this is funny, this is memorable and it is perfectly paced as it never boring and it does hold your interest, it brims with comic one liner and by the end it will made you smile.
