10.Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Bram Stoker)

The centuries old vampire Count Dracula comes to England to seduce his barrister Jonathan Harker’s fiancée Mina Murray and inflict havoc in the foreign land. I grow up watching this film and I still remember it, it is well casted and it slowly drawn you in from start to finish and this is superbly made, overall, this is intriguing and it is well paced as it does hold your interest, this is a well-made film.
9.It (Stephen King)
In the summer of 1989, a group of bullied kids band together to destroy a shape – shifting monster, which disguises itself as a clown and preys on the children of Derry, their small Maine town. Coming of age type of film with a psychological element and that does work perfectly, you care about with these characters and if you get past the brutal moment there is a wonderful story, Bill Skarsgard is brilliant as the villain, this is an excellent film which is generally moving.
8.Jurassic Park (Michael Crichton)

A pragmatic palaeontologist touring an almost complete theme park on an island in Central America is tasked with protecting a couple of kids after a power failure causes the park’s cloned dinosaurs to run loose. Entertaining and exciting film which is like a thrill ride experience, it got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles and this is eye catching, it got amazing CGI/SFX that look realistic and real as this is action packed, this is old fashioned but it still a good film.
7.War Horse (Micheal Morpurgo)

Young Albert enlists to serve in World War I after his beloved horse is sold to the cavalry. Albert’s hopeful journey takes him out of England and to the front lines at the war rages on. Beautiful film that will capture people heart, there is an unlikely friendship aspect with the horse and the main lead, the main lead is likeable and the casting is perfect and it is perfectly paced, it is another film you will care about with these characters, this is silently powerful and this is totally memorable.
6.Journey To The Centre Of The Earth (Jules Verne)
On a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother, a scientist, his nephew, and their mountain guide discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the centre of the earth. Don’t judge this film at all as this is entertaining, this has got an easy-to-follow story and the casting is spot on, it also didn’t take itself too seriously and that is the key to this film, for me personally this is underrated and this is a great adventure film.
5.The Book Thief (Markus Zusak)

While subjected to the horrors of World War II Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others. In the basement of her home, a Jewish refugee is being protected by her adoptive parents. Fantastic looking film and this is quietly heartbreaking and sad, it also got amazing acting and the ending is superb and the main lead is likeable, the film itself is never boring and it will leave you a lasting impression on you, this is a brilliant film.
4.The Witches (Roald Dahl)
A young boy stumbles onto a witch convention and must stop them, even after he has been turned into a mouse. Another film which I grow up watching and I still liking this film, it also balances the comedy element with the darker aspect and for personally it needed it, especially with Rowan Atkinson performance and Anjelica Huston is perfectly sinister, it might be rather dated for some people but this is the ultimate golden oldies type of film.
3.A Christmas Carol (Charles Dickens)
Miser Ebenezer Scrooge is awakened on Christmas Eve by spirits who reveal to him his own miserable existence, what opportunities he wasted in his youth, his current cruelties, and the dire fate that awaits him if he does not change his ways. Gorgeous looking film with amazing visual and this is eye catching, it tries to be something different with a modern take and this is refreshing, the vocal in this film is spot on as the characters are great, overall, this is enjoyable.
2.Charlotte’s Web (EB White)
Wilbur the pig is scared of the end of the season, because he knows that come that time, he will end up on the dinner table. He hatches a plan with Charlotte, a spider that lives in his pen, to ensure that this will never happen. Having watched this film this surprises me and this is cute, it is heartwarming and it will made you smile and this is a crowd pleaser film, it also likeable and this is generally funny, this is heartfelt and it doesn’t feel forced, this is a family viewing type of film.
1.The Jungle Book (Rudyard Kipling)
Bagheera the Panther and Baloo the Bear have a difficult time trying to convince a boy to leave the jungle for human civilization. Just breathtaking as this is fun and funny at the same time, there are catchy tunes and the characters are great plus this is pure escapism, it also suitable for all ages and a family viewing type of film, this is a rainy-day type of film and the animation itself look amazing and this is easy to watch, it is memorable and this film will capture people heart.
