10.A Man Called Otto

Otto is a grump who’s given up on life following the loss of his wife and wants to end it all. When a young family moves in nearby, he meets his match in quick – witted Marisol, leading to a friendship that will turn his world around. This film shows you the suicide aspect and mixed in with the loneliness, I know this is a sensitive topic to people but with this version it tries to be uplifting, it can be funny and the acting is amazing and the story is spot on, this isn’t perfect but it still heartfelt and a good film, it silently well-made and perfectly casted film.
9.Brokeback Mountain

In 1963, two young men hire on as ranch hands in the Wyoming mountains. During the long months of isolation, an unusual bond starts to develop between them, their relationship becomes complicated when both of them get married to their respective girlfriends. Personally, I haven’t watched this film for ages, it is dealing with sexuality and some elements of loneliness and what would you do if you fallen in love with someone, that is the question for this film and the chemistry between the two lead is perfect, it slowly drawn you in from start to finish.
8.Edward Scissorhands

The solitary life of an artificial man who was incompletely constructed and has scissors for hands is upended when he is taken in by a suburban family. I personally connect with this film as it about being an outcast and feeling isolated, I’m sure people will connect to this message and this is a beautiful film, it might be slightly weird for certain people but this film needed that and the casting is perfect, the story is brilliant and this is eye catching plus this will move you as well.
7.How The Grinch Stole Christmas

On the outskirts of Whoville lives a green, revenge – seeking Grinch who plans to ruin Christmas for all the citizens of the town. Colourful film with an unrecognizable Jim Carrey and this is entertaining, I like the moral of being different and in some aspect it also about loneliness, it also an anti-bullying type of film and that is important, it might be rather full on but it still a good film.
6.The Truman Show

Since birth an insurance salesman named Truman Burbank discovers his whole life is actually a reality TV show. A beautiful film that explores the loneliness behind this man and life in general, I also admire this film that try to be something different and it certainly work, it is well casted and they all convince in their roles, overall, this is intriguing and if you want something different this film is ideal.
5.Up In The Air

Ryan Bingham is a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles, and just after he’s met the frequent – traveller woman of his dream. Might not be for everyone as this is an indie type of film about travelling, some of the themes for this film is about loneliness and it has got an all-star cast, this is a likeable film and, in some ways, this is a feel-good experience, this film deserves a chance.
4.Spirited Away

During her family’s move to the suburbs, a sullen 10-year-old girl wanders into a world ruled by gods, witches and spirits, a world where humans are changed into beasts. Beautiful animation film as it about loneliness and finding yourself, the animation itself is gorgeous to look at as this is eye catching, the story is simple to follow and this film in general is certainly memorable from start to finish, this is moving but it never feel forced or too sentimental, this is a brilliant made film.
3.A Man Called Ove

Ove, an ill – tempered, isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife’s grave, has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbour. One of those film that will leave you a lasing impression on you, this is about life in general and the loneliness aspect, this is a beautiful film that will touch your heart and you will care about with these characters, the acting is amazing and the film is superb.
2.The Call Of The Wild (2020)

As the great Klondike Gold Rush is attracting both ambitious treasure hunters and bold adventurers to the unforgiving territories of Canada’s late 1890s Yukon, Buck, a pampered St. Bernard – Scotch Collie dog, finds himself without a master in a frozen new world. Calming type of film which you needed, it has got great scenery and the story is beautiful and it will touch your heart, some of the themes for this film it about loneliness, this is simply a wonderful film.
1.Up (2009)

78-year-old Carl Fredricksen travels to Paradise Falls in his house equipped with balloons, inadvertently taking a young stowaway. Heartwarming and a cute film that will made you smile as this is heartfelt, this is about life and loneliness as people will connect with this film and it has got great characters, it is funny and charming as this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing experience, this is pure escapism and a rainy-day type of film, one of the best Pixar films.
