10.The Peanut Butter Falcon

When Zak (22), a young man with Down Syndrome, runs away from the nursing home where he lives to chase his dream of becoming a professional wrestler, along his way he befriends Tyler (32), a small-time outlaw on the run, becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally. The film in general might not be subtle, but for me personally it’s Zack Gottsagen and Shia La Beouf chemistry that made this film good, the performance in this film is outstanding, it about being different.
9.The Breadwinner

In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. One of those film that deals with culture and being an individual, the animation itself look gorgeous and it silently drawn you in as this is eye catching, you care about with these characters as this is silently powerful, this is memorable and it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
8.Annie (2014)

A foster kid who lives with her mean foster mom sees her life change when business tycoon and New York City mayoral candidate Will Stacks makes a thinly veiled campaign move and takes her in. Personally, I don’t get the hate for this film as this got a likeable lead, this film is about kindness and give people a chance, people will connect to this message and the songs are catchy, it might not be for everyone but this will made you smile, overall, this is uplifting and it is a nice film.
7.How The Grinch Stole Christmas

On the outskirts of Whoville lives a green, revenge seeking Grinch who plans to ruin Christmas for all of the citizens of the town. Normally with Christmas films they can feel rather forced and too sentimental, not with this one and Jim Carrey is totally unrecognizable, this is an anti-bullying type of film and it also deal with loneliness, kids will connect with that aspect of the film and this is well made, the story is simple and it easy to follow as this is so underrated, it is a beautiful film.
6.Love, Simon

Simon Spier keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends and all of his classmates: he’s gay. When that secret is threatened, Simon must face everyone and come to terms with his identity. Quietly this is powerful and this will made you think about families and friends, in some ways this film will made you smile and it is an LGBTQ type of film, the acting is amazing and the main lead is likeable and this will move you as well, if you wanted a likeable film this is ideal for you.
5.Back To The Outback

Tired of being locked in a reptile house where humans gawk at them like they’re monsters, a group of Australia’s deadliest creatures plot a daring escape from their zoo to the Outback. Memorable animation film with stunning scenery, the characters are great and the vocal in this film is superb and brim with comic one liner, it deals with appearances and home like where you come from and that is refreshing, it might not be a five-star film but this is still a heartfelt film, this is easy to watch.
4.Dora And The Lost City Of Gold

Teenage explorer Dora leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold. Some people will like this and some don’t as this will divide people, it is a feel good experience and it will made you smile, it has got a female lead and the moral is stay true to yourself despite you feel like an outcast, I can connect to that aspect of the film and this is joyous and heartwarming film, this is one of the better adventure film.
3.The Half Of It

A shy, introverted, Chinese – American, straight – A student finds herself helping the school jock woo the girl they both secretly love. In the process, each teaches the other about the nature of love as they find connection in the most unlikely of places. Relatable and life affirming film that will touch your heart, this is like an LGBTQ type of film from a female perspective and it certainly works, this is another film that will leave you a lasting impression on you, this will move you.
2.The Eagle Huntress

Thirteen-year-old Aisholpan trains to become the first female in twelve generations of her nomad family to become an eagle huntress. With stunning scenery and this is an inspiration film as it about life, it also about chasing your dream and it deals with culture as well, this will teach kids with all of those elements together, it is powerful and it slowly drawn you in from start to finish as this is perfectly paced, you will always remember this documentary as this is memorable.
1.The Bad Guys

To avoid prison, a gang of notorious animal criminals pretends to seek being rehabilitated, only for their leader to realize that he genuinely wants to change his ways. Laugh out loud funny as this is clever and genius, I was totally surprised with this film as it try to be something different which I admire, for me personally it about inner beauty and appearances, plus it doesn’t matter what you look like, wait till the credit finish as there is a bonus scene and overall this is entertaining, the story is easy to follow and the characters are great, this is superbly made.
