10.Love Actually
Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England. One of those film which is easy to watch from start to finish, it got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, it can be funny in places and the pacing is perfect, overall, the film itself is likeable.
9.Bridget Jones (2001 – 2016)
Bridget Jones is determined to improve herself while she looks for love in a year in which she keeps a personal diary, along the way she continued to live her life and go to many places meeting new people. All these films are consistent and they are light-hearted, the story is perfect and it is well casted and the soundtrack is amazing, it has got some nice moment in these films, as they are well made.
8.Christmas With The Coopers
The intertwined stories of four generations of Coopers unfold right before the annual family reunion on Christmas Eve. Can they survive the most beautiful time of the year. Too be honest with you I was surprised with this film, at the core to this film there is a romance between Amanda Seyfried and Jake Lacy characters, the casting is perfect as this is watchable, this will certainly surprise many people as this is surprisingly a good film.
7.La La Land
While navigating their careers in Los Angeles, a pianist and an actress fall in love while attempting to reconcile their aspirations for the future. A lovely film with a catchy soundtrack and it got full of jazz music, the musical set piece is outstanding and this film will wow you, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone got superb chemistry together, the ending is clever and it will draw you in from start to finish.
6.Cinderella
When her father unexpectedly dies, young Ella finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and her scheming stepsisters. Never one to give up hope, Ella’s fortunes begin to change after meeting a dashing stranger. Eye catching film with amazing CGI/SFX with great characters, the story is easy to follow and this a beautiful film, the main lead is likeable and this film is believable plus this pure escapism type of film, this is silently enjoyable and it will surprise you as well.
5.Moonshot
Follows two college students as they join forces in order to be reunited with their significant others, embarking on a lively journey that takes them wildly off course. I admire this film that try to be something different, it like the science fiction element that mixed in with the romantic aspects, for me personally it’s certainly work and the characters are relatable, if you wanted a different romantic film this is ideal for you.
4.Ticket To Paradise
A divorced couple teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago. Might be too predictable and it could be on the verve of sentimental and feel rather forced, this is heartfelt and this is funny plus this is well casted. The chemistry between Julia Roberts and George Clooney is spot on, this is fun and enjoyable.
3.Only Yesterday
A twenty-seven-year-old office worker travels to the countryside while reminiscing about her childhood in Tokyo. Beautiful film that will capture people heart and the scenery is outstanding, it about growing up and it about life in general and people will connect with that message, it also about love as well and this will leave you a lasting impression on you, this is certainly memorable.
2.We Bought A Zoo
Set in Southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re-open a struggling zoo. Perfectly paced film which certainly holds your interest and this is generally cute, it about love and life in one and it got that right balance as it never feel too forced, the ending will move you as this film is relatable, this is lovely and a nice film that will capture people heart.
1.Elemental
The film journeys alongside an unlikely pair, Ember and Wade, in a city where fire, water – land and air residents live together. The fiery young woman and the go with the flow guy are about to discover something elemental: how much they actually have in common. It might not be laugh out loud funny but this will move you, the characters are great and this will made you smile, it also taught kids about love and appearances, it got a multilayered story which is refreshing and this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, this is a wonderful film.
