10.Gulliver’s Travels

Travel writer Lemuel Gulliver takes an assignment in Bermuda but ends up on the island of Lilliput, where he towers over its tiny citizens. One of those film that could be rather full on, the humour of this film might put off many people and I do understand that, for me personally it’s the chemistry between Jack Black and Amanda Peet that made this film good, in some ways this is entertaining with an all-star cast, if you wanted something different this is ideal for you.

9.Pokemon: Detective Pikachu

In a world where people collect Pokémon to do battle, a boy comes across an intelligent talking Pikachu who seeks to be a detective. Some people will like this and some don’t as this will divide people, the main lead is likeable and this is action packed, but it never loses the story itself and that is the key to this film, it is enjoyable and it got amazing CGI/SFX that look realistic as this is eye catching, it can be funny and the story is spot on, for me personally it is pure escapism.

 8.Dark Shadows

An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins, is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection. It could be on the verve of weirdness and rather surreal, for me personally it needed it and it got an all-star cast, it try to be something different which I admire, this is like a period, horror, and comedy and for me personally it works perfectly, if you like those mixture of genres this film is ideal for you, this is superbly made.

7.Zathura: A Space Adventure

Two young brothers are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house is hurled through the depths of space by the magical board game they are playing. A thrill ride type of film which is generally exciting, it is well casted and this has got amazing CGI/SFX that look realistic, the story is easy to follow and this is entertaining from start to finish, it is another film which is eye catching.

6.She Said

New York Times reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey’s quest to break the Harvey Weinstein scandal. Memorable film that will drawn you in from the start, it might be a sensitive topic to certain people but despite that, this is intriguing and the acting is amazing and totally believable, it will stay with you and this is perfectly paced and it does hold your interest, it is an excellent film and overall this is a slow burner film, it is one of the best true story type of film.

5.Dark Waters

A corporate defence attorney takes on an environmental lawsuit against a chemical company that exposes a lengthy history of pollution. Personally if you into a film with nothing happen this is ideal for you, this is another film which is a slow burner type of film and it will stay with you, it is well casted and the acting in this film is amazing, the pacing is perfect as it certainly hold your interest, it is totally unpredictable and it will drawn you in, it is one of the best drama film.

4.Rise Of The Guardians

When the evil spirit Pitch launches an assault on Earth, the Immortal Guardians team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world. Entertaining and eye-catching film and it got great characters, plus for me personally it balances the darker element with the lighter aspect and it certainly works, it is funny and the vocal in this film is superb and the villain is memorable, the story is brilliant and it is easy to follow, overall, this is light-hearted.

3.The Secret Of Marrowbone

In 1960s rural America, a young man and his three younger siblings, who have kept secret the death of their beloved mother in order to remain together, are plagued by a sinister presence in the sprawling manor in which they live. With this film this has got a clever twist as this is totally unpredictable, you will care about with these characters as it got an emotional core to this film, it got that psychological edge as this will creep you under your skin, this is well made.

2.The Call Of The Wild

As the great Klondike Gold Rush is attracting both ambitious treasure hunters and bold adventurers to the unforgiving territories of Canada’s late 1890s Yukon, Buck, a pampered St. Bernard – Scotch Collie dog, finds himself without a master in a frozen new world. My go to film and a comfort watching type of film, for me personally it always made me smile and I reckon many people will agree with me, it has got amazing scenery and this can be slightly hard hitting for the younger generation, this is a wonderful film as this is watchable.

1.Wendell & Wild

Two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot to summon them to the Land of the Living. Beautiful animation film with a multilayered story and you will care about with these characters, this will move you and it will leave you a lasting impression on you, this is relatable to people as it deals with loneliness with the main lead, it is one of those film that is heartfelt and it will touch people heart.
