10.Ticket To Paradise
A divorced couple teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago. This could be on the verge of too sentimental and rather forced, it might be too predictable for some people but this is generally heartfelt, it is well casted and this can be funny in certain places, it will made you smile from start to finish as this is light-hearted, if you into romantic film this is ideal for you, overall, this is a well-made film.
9.Black Beauty (2020)
A wild horse and a teenage girl forge an unbreakable bond which keeps them connected for a lifetime. Perfectly paced film which certainly hold your interest, the story is spot on and this mainly aimed for teenagers but it still watchable, the main lead is likeable and this can feel relatable for some people, this is easy to watch and this could surprise many people, this also about an unlikely friendship and I’m sure people will connect with that message, it is a nice film.
8.San Andreas
In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue – chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey with his ex – wife across the state in order to rescue his daughter. With certain disasters film they normally rushed it, with this one this is character driven and it got those emotional depths, the ending is superb and this is generally exciting from start to finish, it also got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, this is the ultimate disasters film for people.
7.Jiro Dreams Of Sushi
A documentary on 85-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, his renowned Tokyo restaurant, and his relationship with his son and eventual heir, Yoshikazu. Many people thought why this documentary and I tell you this, this is a feel-good experience and it is about life in general and chasing your dreams, I’m sure people will connect with this message and this is intriguing, it is joyous and uplifting at the same time, this is a rainy-day type of documentary as this is wonderful.
6.Balloon (2018)
East Germany, 1979. After initially failing to flee from the East to the West in a self – built hot – air balloon, two families struggle to make a second attempt, while the East German State Police are chasing them, Unpredictable film that will slowly drawn you in, it is one of those film that nothing really happen but it still a good film, the story is there as this is watchable, I think personally you should give this film a chance, if you being patience you will be rewarding with this film.
5.A Haunting In Venice
In post-World War II Venice, Poirot, now retired and living in his own exile, reluctantly attends a séance. But when one of the guests is murdered, it is up to the former detective to uncover the killer once again. Clever and totally unpredictable film that will made you think, this might not show Venice itself but it got that psychological edge, it got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, it never gets too overcomplicated with the flashback element, this is a well-made film.
4.She Said
New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor quest to break the Harvey Weinstein scandal. One of those film that will stay with you and overall, this is intriguing, this can be a sensitive topic for some people, this is well handed and the acting is amazing plus this is quietly powerful, this also a memorable film as and this will certainly hold your interest, this is a superbly made film.
3.9 (2009)
When 9 first comes to life, he finds himself in a post – apocalyptic world where all humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Gorgeous looking film which is eye catching, this will leave you a lasting impression on you and you will remember this film, it got a multilayered story and this animation film isn’t suitable for the younger generation, if you wanted something different this is ideal for you, this is an amazing film.
2.Mulan
To keep her ailing father from serving in the Imperial Army, a fearless young woman disguises herself as a man and battles northern invaders in China. For me personally this film is so underrated as the set pieces is outstanding, it is action packed but it never loses the story itself and that is the key to this film, plus it got amazing scenery and this can be exciting, it also a feminism type of film which is important, it also didn’t take itself too seriously and this is the ultimate action film.
1.The Bad Guys
To avoid prison, a gang of notorious animal criminals pretends to seek being rehabilitated, only for their leader to realize that he genuinely wants to change his ways. With the vocal to this film is spot on and brim with comic one liner, it also try to be something different which I admire and that is refreshing, the characters are great and I personally connect with this, it about self-image and appearances and people will connect with this, if you wait for the credit to finish there is a bonus scene, I think personally this film will surprise many people.
