10.Over The Hedge
A scheming raccoon fools a mismatched family of forest creatures into helping him repay a debt of food, by invading the new suburban sprawl that popped up while they were hibernating and learns a lesson about family himself. It is one of those film that could be on the verve of silliness and rather daft, the good thing about this film is the story itself as it is easy to follow. It got an all-star vocal talent and they are rather good, this is fun and enjoyable which you needed in this film.
9.Flushed Away
The story of an uptown rat that gets flushed down the toilet from his penthouse apartment, ending in the sewers of London, where he has to learn a whole new and different way of life. For me personally it’s the vocal in this film that made this good, it also funny and charming and with a memorable villain, if you get past the singing slugs this is charming and a cute film, it is exciting and action packed which never loses the story itself, this is heartwarming and it is a nice film.
8.Shark Tale
When a son of a gangster shark boss is accidentally killed while on the hunt, his would – be prey and his vegetarian brother decide to use the incident to their own advantage. Being a musical this will divide people as some will like this and some don’t, this is joyous and uplifting at the same time as this is easy to watch, the story is spot on as this is eye catching from start to finish, if you into musical animation film this is ideal for you.
7.Basil The Great Mouse Detective
Basil, the rodent Sherlock Holmes, investigates the kidnapping of a toy maker and uncovers its link to his archenemy, Professor Ratigan. Amazing hand drawn animation film which is dated well and this is intriguing, the only thing is with this film it struggles the balance of the darker element with the lighter aspect, despite that this is not your usual Disney film which I admire, it got a real sense of a mystery and this is a superbly made film.
6.Back To The Outback
Tired of being locked in a reptile house where humans gawk at them like they’re monsters, a group of Australia’s deadliest creatures plot a daring escape from their zoo to the Outback. Calming type of film which you needed, it can be funny in certain places but it never feels forced or too sentimental, sometimes it feels a bit hyperactive at times and the soundtrack can be rather annoying, but despite that this is well made and this is a feel-good experience.
5.Bolt
The canine star of a fictional sci – fi/action show that believes his powers are real embarks on a cross country trek to save his co – star from a threat he believes is just as real. Don’t judge this film whatsoever as this will made you smile, it might not be for everyone with regarding to this film. The idea is there as it meant to be something different, you don’t have to be a dog lover as this mainly aimed at teenagers, this is easy to watch and overall, this is heartwarming.
4.Bee Movie
Barry B. Benson graduates from college and is now working at Honex. And then, when he files outside the hive, he meets a human florist from New York City named Vanessa Bloome. And suddenly, Barry finds out humans eat honey, he plans to sue them. Everything about this animation ticked all the boxes, it got a nice message of unlikely friendships aspect and that is an important subject for the younger generation, in some ways this might be rather predictable for some people, this is enjoyable, funny, and charming at the same time, it also easy to watch.
3.Kung Fu Panda (2008 – 2016)
Po, a fat panda, gets chosen by the old Master Oogway to become the Dragon Warrior and protect the Valley of Peace, along his way he must battle numerous villains and meeting new people. Gorgeous looking animation films which is entertaining and fun, this can be laugh out loud funny and it got great characters that are likeable, it got a message of believe in yourself and I’m sure people will connect with this message, all these films are consistent and heartfelt.
2.Finding Dory
Friendly but forgetful blue tang Dory begins a search for her long – lost parents and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way. Having watched this film at the cinema I thought wowed, it got that emotional aspect and you genuinely care for these characters, normally with sequel them can be rather disappointing, but this one, is one of the best one as this will move you, it is quietly powerful and this is suitable for a family viewing film.
1.Zootropolis
In a city of anthropomorphic animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy. Just breathtaking as this a five star film, the characters are great and this can be laugh out loud moment, there is a real sense of mystery as this is like a clever whodunnit type of film, that is generally refreshing and it try to be something different which I admire, it also about an unlikely friendships and it dealing with the culture aspect, for me personally this is an important subject matter from around the world, this is superbly made.
