With dreams of opening a shop in a city renowned for its chocolate, a young and poor Willy Wonka discovers that the industry is run by a cartel of greedy chocolatiers. Character driven fantasy musical film that will touch people heart, it got a multilayered story with great characters and it will move you, this is quietly powerful and this is eye catching from start to finish. The pacing is perfect as it certainly holds your interest, the film itself is gorgeous to look at and it got catchy soundtrack. The main lead is likeable and this has got an easy-to-follow story, in some ways this is a feel-good experience and this is pure escapism, the visual is outstanding despite it feel rather cartoonish in certain places when it doesn’t need to be, that is the only flaws in this film but it still watchable and entertaining at the same time.
