10.27 Dresses (Anne Fletcher)

After serving as a bridesmaid 27 times, a young woman wrestles with the idea of standing by her sister’s side as her sibling marries the man she’s secretly in love with. This will divide people as some will like this and some don’t, the main lead is likeable and the film in general is light-hearted, if you into romantic film this is ideal for you, overall, this is a well-made film.
9.The Three Musketeers (Paul W.S. Anderson)

The hot headed young D’Artagnan along with three former legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers must unite and defeat a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war. One of those action film that didn’t take itself too seriously, this is well casted and they all convince in their roles, it is action packed but it never loses the story itself, it might not be groundbreaking but it still a fun film.
8.Daylight (Rob Cohen)

Disaster in a New York tunnel as explosions collapse both ends of it. One hero tries to help the people inside find their way to safety. Might be too predictable for some people but it still exciting, the story is there and this is well casted and this film is dated well, if you wanted a film that you don’t have to think, this is suitable and this is a golden oldies type of film.
7.Dora And The Lost City Of Gold (James Bobin)

Teenage explorer Dora leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold. Normally with the live action film it might not be everyone taste, the CGI/SFX is truly outstanding and this is an eye-catching film, it also balances the darker elements with the comedy aspect, for me personally it certainly works and this is joyous and uplifting.
6.Titanic (James Cameron)

A seventeen-year-old aristocrat falls in love with a kind but poor artist aboard the luxurious, ill – fated R.M.S. Titanic. Perfectly paced film that certainly hold your interest, this feels epic type of film and the soundtrack is amazing, it is one of those film that could be rather too sentimental or rather forced, the film in general is dated well as this got the emotional impact, the ending is superb.
5.La La Land (Damien Chazelle)

While navigating their careers in Los Angeles, a pianist and an actress fall in love while attempting to reconcile their aspirations for the future. Remarkable film with amazing musicals set pieces and the soundtrack is outstanding, the chemistry between the main two lead is spot on and the ending is clever, you will always remember this film as this is memorable, in some ways it will made you smile.
4.Hugo (Martin Scorsese)

In 1931 Paris, an orphan living in the walls of a train station gets wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton. Quietly this is the ultimate feel-good experience and it will touch people heart, the casting is perfect and they all convince in their roles. It might be at a slower paced but if you get past that, this has got a beautiful story and this slowly draws you in from start to finish, it is joyous and uplifting film that is enjoyable, this is easy to follow.
3.Nomadland (Chloe Zhao)

A woman in her sixties, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van – dwelling modern day nomad. Stunning scenery and this is quietly powerful and it will leave you a lasting impression on you, I also like the message of choosing your own paths and don’t let anyone influence you, I personally connect with this film and once you watch this you will always remember this, for me personally this is relatable.
2.The Bucket List (Rob Reiner)

Two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to – dos before they die. Life affirming film that is relatable for people. I like the aspect of the unlikely friendship’s elements to this film, it has got stunning scenery and the chemistry between the two lead is superb, this doesn’t feel too sentimental or too forced as this can be rather funny in certain places, this is one of the best terminal illness films as this is real and honest.
1.Elemental (Peter Sohn)

Follows an unlikely pair Ember and Wade, in a city where fire, water, earth and air resident live together. Kids and family viewing type of film and the characters are great, this is film is suitable for a rainy day as this is pure escapism, it got a multilayered story and it got that emotional aspect plus it will move you, the story is easy to follow and it has a got beautiful message of appearances, this is cute and a heartwarming film that will capture people heart.

Too be honest with you it probably just me, I haven’t see many films of these directors and I will keep my eyes on these films
