10.Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken

A shy adolescent learns that she comes from a fabled royal family of legendary sea krakens and that her destiny lies in the depths of the waters, which is bigger than she could have ever imagined. This might not be perfect but underneath it all there is a great story, the idea is there and it try to be something different which I admire, the vocal in this film is spot on and the main lead is likeable, it is a coming-of-age type of film and this is certainly entertaining.
9.Encanto

A Colombian teenage girl has to face the frustration of being the only member of her family without magical powers. It might not be my favourite film but overall, this is eye catching, the film itself is easy to follow and the animation itself look gorgeous, it got that coming-of-age genre in this film and the story is easy to follow, in some ways this is joyous and uplifting film.
8.Coco

Aspiring musician Miguel, confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music, enters the Land of the Dead to find his great – great – grandfather, a legendary singer. Personally, it might not be the best Pixar film, it still a heartwarming film that will made you smile, it got that aspect of growing up and a coming-of-age element, this will be relatable for some people as this is cute, it can be funny in places and this is a family viewing film.
7.Onward

In a magical world of technological advances, eleven brothers Ian and Barley Lightfoot set out on an adventure to resurrect their late father for a day. Could be on the verve of too sentimental and rather forced for some people, this is relatable for people as it about growing up and how you coming of age, it has got some nice moment in this film, it is enjoyable and fun.
6.Frozen

Fearless optimist Anna teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven in an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. One of those film that will divide people as some will like this and some don’t, the songs are generally powerful and catchy, it also dealing with the growing up aspect and some coming of age element, overall, this animation film is joyous and uplifting.
5.Kiki’s Delivery Service

A young witch, on her mandatory year of independent life, finds fitting into a new community difficult while she supports herself by running an air courier service. Quietly this is intriguing and it slowly draws you in, this has got a beautiful story and it feel like a coming-of-age film, it like going on a journey with the main lead, this will move you as this can be generally powerful.
4.Spider – Man (2018 – 2023)

Miles Morales returns once again to save the multiverse! After being reunited with Gwen Stacy, Miles races across the multiverse to try and defeat a powerful foe known as the Spot. A different take on the coming-of-age story, I also admire these films that try to be something different, it is action packed but it never loses the story itself, both films are consistent and these are superb.
3.Tarzan (2013)

Tarzan and Jane Porter face a mercenary army dispatched by the evil CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan’s parents, after they died in a helicopter crash. Eye catching animation film with stunning visual, the scenery is outstanding and this is entertaining. The start of this film has got aspect of coming-of-age element, it is silently moving and for me personally this is so underrated, I think personally this film will surprise people.
2.Ferdinand

After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. My go to film as this is a comfort type of film, it will made you smile as this got some aspect of a coming-of-age film, it got an important message of being yourself and I personally connect with that aspect, it is funny and heartfelt at the sane time, this is suitable for all ages.
1.My Neighbour Totoro

When two girls move to the country to be near their ailing mother, they have adventures with the wondrous forest spirits who live nearby. Comfort type of film that will made you smile. It deals with adolescent and growing up and this is the ultimate coming of age film, it will leave you a lasting impression on you as this memorable, you will care about with these characters as this is heartfelt, once you watched this you will always remember this film.
