10.Moana
In ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the demigod Mauri reaches Moana’s island, she answers the ocean’s calls to seek out Mauri to set things right. One of those film that will divide people, it also dealing with the diversity aspect and that is why I put this film in this category, the songs are generally catchy and powerful, the story is spot on and this is watchable.
9.Shark Tale
When a son of a gangster shark boss is accidentally killed while on the hunt, his would be prey and his vegetarian brother decide to use the incident to their own advantage. Some people will like this and some don’t, the vocal in this film is superb and brim with comic one liner, it about fame and don’t let it go to your head and never take advantage of people, that is the theme of this film and I’m sure people will connect to this film, in general this film is enjoyable.
8.The Breadwinner
In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. Could be rather hard hitting for some people, for me personally it’s determination and never given up and that is the message, this film gets me into other foreign animation film, this will move you.
7.Kiki’s Delivery Service
A young witch, on her mandatory year of independent life, finds fitting into a new community difficult while she supports herself by running an air courier service. Gorgeous looking film with a likeable lead, in some ways this about growing up and believe in yourself, this is easy to watch and the story is simple, it is eye catching from start to finish and this film is relatable.
6.Strange World
The legendary Clades are a family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest and most crucial mission. Personally, I don’t really get the hate for this film, it is a LGBTQ film and it all in the end of this film, it is cute and heartwarming film that will made you smile, this also a feel-good film which you want, the visual is outstanding as this is an eye-catching film.
5.The Bad Guys
To avoid prison, a gang of notorious animal criminals pretends to seek being rehabilitated, only for their leader to realize that he genuinely wants to change his ways. It’s the idea behind this film and it try to be something different, I admire this film so much as this is generally heartfelt, the theme of this film is appearances and what you look like, people will connect with that as this is funny.
4.Kubo And The Two Strings
A young boy named Kubo must locate a magical suit of armour worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past. With stunning scenery and this is eye catching from start to finish, it feels like you go on a journey with the main lead, also about self-discovery and the ending is powerful, it has got an all-star vocal talent in this film, overall, this is intriguing from the start.
3.Ferdinand
After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Heartwarming film that will made you smile, it might not be for everyone but this is funny, in some ways I connect with this as this is about stay true to yourself, this is fun and joyous.
2.Big Hero 6
A special bond develops between plus sized inflatable robot Baymax and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who together team up with a group of friends to form a band of high – tech heroes. A film that touch my heart as this is relatable, it about overcoming many obstacles in your way, with certain part it deals with grief as this is quietly powerful, it is funny and heartfelt and it is relatable.
1.Up
78-year-old Carl Fredricksen travels to Paradise Falls in his house equipped with balloons, inadvertently taking a young stowaway. Fantastic looking film which captures people heart and it will made you smile, in general this film is about life and making new memories, people will connect with that message. It will leave you a lasting impression on you and it got great characters, it is funny and this feels epic and it got stunning scenery, this is memorable.
