When the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second ice age. Everything about this film ticked all the boxes, it has got a good story, the villain is memorable and the CGI/SFX is gorgeous to look at. It got that emotional aspect and you will care about with these characters, it also balances the darker moment with the laughs and that is the key to this film. It perfectly paced as it does hold your interest, it is eye catching from start to finish and it is entertaining. It might be action packed but it never loses the story itself as this is refreshing, overall, this is suitable for a rainy-day type of film and this is pure escapism.
