5.La La Land

While navigating their careers in Los Angeles, a pianist and an actress fall in love while attempting to reconcile their aspirations for the future. Despite this film has got a pacing problem, this is still eye catching and the two-lead got excellent chemistry together, J.K Simmons play the nightclub owner as the casting is perfect, the songs are catchy and overall, this is intriguing from the start.
4.Spider – Man (2002 – 2007)

It’s been five years since the life – altering incident in Spider – Man (2002), and only a few months since Dr Otto Octavius’ Utopian dream in Spider – Man 2 (2004), and now, things are looking up for Peter Parker and Mary Jane for a change. All these films are consistent and enjoyable at the same time, it is action packed but it never loses the story itself, J.K Simmons play J. Jonah Jameson the editor in chief of the Daily Bugle, these films are entertaining.
3.Klaus

A simple act of kindness always sparks another, even in a frozen, faraway place. When Smeerensburg’s new postman, Jesper, befriends toymaker Klaus, their gifts melt an age-old feud and deliver a sleigh full of holiday traditions. Beautiful animation film that will touch your heart. The ending is memorable and generally heartfelt, J.K Simmons plays a toymaker named Klaus and the vocal in this film is spot on, the animation itself look gorgeous, it will move you.
2.Patriots Day

The story of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the aftermath, which includes the city-wide manhunt to find the terrorists responsible. Once you watch this you will always remember this film. The acting is amazing and totally believable in this brilliant true story type of film, J.K Simmons plays Sergeant Jeffrey Pugliese, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
1.Zootropolis

In a city of anthropomorphic animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy. I admire this film that try to be something different, it has got a great twist and J.K Simmons play Mayor Lionheart, the vocal in this film is perfect and this is funny, overall if you wanted something different this is ideal for you, this is suitable for all ages.
Don’t forget that he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Whiplash.

Great post. While I don’t disagree with any of these choices, I feel like you have missed out his best movie: “Whiplash”. Simmons won a well deserved Oscar for his role as a cruel jazz band teacher. It’s a terrifying performance showing the lengths teachers go through abusing pupils. One of my favourite films of all time.
