5.Spotlight

The true story of how the Boston Globe uncovered the massive scandal of child molestation and cover up within the local Catholic Archdiocese, shaking the entire Catholic Church to its core. One of those film that pay respect to those people who inspire this film, it is well casted and the story is brilliant, the pacing is perfect as it does hold your interest, overall, this is a well-made film.
4.The Adam Project

After accidentally crash landing in 2022, time traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his 12-year-old self for a mission to save the future. If you get past the flaws in this film. The idea behind this film is superb and the story is spot on, it also got some nice moment in this film as this is quietly powerful, it is watchable from start to finish, it also well casted and superbly made.
3.Collateral

A cab driver finds himself the hostage of an engaging contract killer as he makes his rounds from hit to hit during one night in Los Angeles. Firstly, I know Mark Ruffalo have got a smaller role in this film. I haven’t watched this film for ages but I still remember this, in general I reckon this film will surprise many people, it might be a thriller type of film and it is character driven, this is good.
2.Now You See Me

An FBI agent and an Interpol detective track a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances, and reward their audiences with the money. Eye catching film with amazing set pieces. It is entertaining from start to finish as this is clever, it never gets too overcomplicated and that is the key, it has got a fantastic cast as this is thought provoking and unpredictable.
1.Dark Waters

A corporate defence attorney takes on an environmental lawsuit against a chemical company that exposes a lengthy history of pollution. A slow burner psychological drama film that works perfectly. It will leave you a lasting impression on you, this is memorable and once you watch this you will always remember this, the acting is amazing and this is powerful, this is silently good.
The only film that I know that he has been in is Shutter Island which is great and highly recommended if you haven’t seen it.

Great posts as always. I definitely agree with all of these choices. Personally, I believe “Spotlight” is the greatest film Mark Ruffalo has ever made. Truly one of the best movies of the past decade. An eye opening story about abuse that definitely deserved without any doubt to be told.
Here’s why I loved the movie:
