10.Fatherhood
A father brings up his baby girl as a single dad after the unexpected death of his wife who died a day after their daughter’s birth. Despite the first hour doesn’t really work, this is still heartwarming with a superb ending, the acting in general is amazing and especially Kevin Hart. The story is simple and easy to follow, it might not be perfect but it still heartfelt, plus this is a good film.
9.Christmas With The Coopers
The intertwined stories of four generations of Coopers unfold right before the annual family reunion on Christmas Eve. Can they survive the most beautiful time of the year. Personally, this film surprise me as this is surprisingly good, it has got an all-star cast and they all convince in their roles. It doesn’t gel or flow together as much despite that, this is sad and happy type of film
8.Mamma Mia! (2008 – 2018)
Five years after the events of Mamma Mia (2008), Sophie prepares for the grand reopening of the Hotel Bella Donna as she learns more about her mother’s past. It might not be for everyone but this is a feel-good experience, the soundtrack is amazing and catchy as this is a likeable film, this is inoffensive as this is easy to watch, if you wanted a perfect light-hearted film this is ideal for you.
7.IF (2024)
A young girl who goes through a difficult experience begins to see everyone’s imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real – life friends have grown up. Could be rather forced and too sentimental for some people, the CGI/SFX look realistic and this is a heartfelt film. People will connect with this film as it about, life, death and finding yourself, this is a family viewing film.
6.Cinderella
When her father unexpectedly dies, young Ella finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and her scheming stepsisters. Never one to give up hope, Ella’s fortunes begin to change after meeting a dashing stranger. Another film which might not be for everyone, it also a feminism type of film which is important. This is another feel good experience which you needed, the main lead is likeable and the CGI/SFX is outstanding, in general this film is watchable from start to finish.
5.School Of Rock
After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher at an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. Underdog type of film which you rooted with these characters, this never feel forced or too sentimental and that is the key, this is a crowd pleaser as this is enjoyable, in some ways this is fun and joyous.
4.Beauty And The Beast
A selfish prince is cursed to become a monster for the rest of his life, unless he learns to fall in love with a beautiful young woman he keeps prisoner. One of the best film musical and the film itself will draws you in, the musical set pieces is truly spectacular as this is eye catching, it got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, if you wanted a musical with catchy tunes this is ideal.
3.The Polar Express
On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas. Gorgeous looking film with epic style of film, it like a thrill ride experience with this film as the scenery is amazing, the story is beautiful and it is easy to follow, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing.
2.Dumplin’
Willowdean (“Dumplin”), the plus – size teenage daughter of a former beauty queen, signs up for her mom’s Miss Teen Bluebonnet pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow her footsteps, revolutionizing the pageant and their small Texas town. When you watch this it will leave you a lasting impression on you, It’s the personal journey and the self-image aspect which I personally connect with, it is uplifting, joyous and a relatable film for people.
1.Ferdinand
After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Cute and heartwarming film that will made you smile, the characters are great and the soundtrack is amazing. I personally connect with this film as it about being different and stay true to yourself, it is another film which is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, this is good.
