10.Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil

Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies, and dark new forces at play. Gorgeous looking film that will draw you in from the start. In some ways I prefer this one than the first film, this has got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, I would say the midsection slightly falters just a little bit, despite that this is watchable and exciting.

9.Pinocchio (Disney Plus)

A puppet is brought to life by a fairy, who assigns him to lead virtuous life in order to become a real boy. With stunning CGI/SFX that look realistic in this eye-catching film. I also quite like the twist toward the end of this film and that is refreshing, the story is wonderful and it is easy to follow, for me personally it’s the musical element that doesn’t really works, but overall, this is well made.

8.101, 102 Dalmatians (1996 – 2000)

An evil high fashion designer plots to steal dalmatian puppies in order to make an extravagant fur coat but creates an extravagant mess instead, plus Cruella DeVil gets out of prison and goes after the puppies once more. Personally, I don’t get the hate for these films as they are charming, these are fun and joyous and it will made you smile, the only thing is this could be on the verve of too sentimental and rather forced for some people, these films are enjoyable.

7.Peter Pan & Wendy

Follow the adventures of Peter Pan, a boy who does not want to grow up, and how he recruits three siblings in London, and together they embark on a magical adventure on the enchanted island of Neverland. The key thing to this film is the flashback element which never gets too overcomplicated, the story is spot on as this tries to be a modern version, for me personally it’s works and the villain itself isn’t as memorable, in general this film will surprise people.

6.Lady And The Tramp

The romantic tale of a sheltered uptown Cocker Spaniel dog named Lady and a streetwise downtown Mutt named Tramp. I’m an animal lover and it got a lot of elements which I like. It also works as a drama film and for me personally it is refreshing, the vocal in this film is superb and brims with comic one liner, the musicals element doesn’t really work, this is easy to watch.

5.Cruella

During the 1970s London punk rock revolution, young grifter Estella transforms herself into the raucous, revenge – bent Cruella de Vil. One of those film which I admire as this film try to be something different, the story is spot on and this is well casted, I would say the pacing is slightly off as it falters just a little bit, despite that if you wanted something different this is ideal.

4.Beauty And The Beast

A brave, beautiful, and brilliant young woman is imprisoned by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she learns to see beyond the beast’s hideous exterior and realize the gentle heart of the true prince within him. Eye catching film with an all-star cast. The musical element is truly outstanding and the CGI/SFX is superb, Dan Stevens and Emma Watson chemistry is perfect, the casting is perfect and this is pure escapism, I just think in general this film is superbly made.

3.Cinderella

When her father unexpectedly dies, young Ella finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and her scheming stepsisters. Never one to give up hope, Ella’s fortunes begin to change after meeting a dashing stranger. Having watched this film this is watchable. The main lead is likeable and this has got an all-star cast, it certainly eye catching from start to finish, it might not be suitable for cynical type of people, this is a comfort watch as this film is beautiful.

2.Mulan

To keep her ailing father from serving in the Imperial Army, a fearless young woman disguises herself as a man and battles northern invaders in China. Stunning scenery and with amazing set pieces, it is action packed but it never loses the story itself, it can be funny in places as it didn’t take itself too seriously, this film feels totally epic as this silently draws you in.

1.Pete’s Dragon

The adventures of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who happens to be a dragon. Real, honest, relatable film that will touch people heart. This never feel forced or too sentimental as this is quietly powerful, it’s the personal journey and finding yourself aspect which I personally connect, it will leave you a lasting impression on you, this film is relatable for people.
