While looking for the perfect Christmas present for his teenage son Billy, Randall Peltzer stumbles upon the ideal companion, a furry Mogwai. I admire this film that try to be something different. I grows up watching this film and I still remember this, in general the film itself is certainly memorable, if you get past the brutal elements of this film, the idea is there with a good story.
9.Jingle All The Way ($60,592,389)

A father vows to get his son a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas. However, every store is sold out, and he must travel all over town and compete with everybody else in order to find one. Being an Arnold Schwarzenegger film who normally do action film, he superb in a comedy film with comic one liner, it has got some nice moment in this film, this is a surprisingly good film.
8.Love Actually ($244,931,766)

Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London. An all star cast and they all convince in their roles, the soundtrack is amazing and it is a feel-good experience, it is watchable from start to finish, the story is spot on in this crowd pleaser type of film.
7.Miracle On 34th Street ($46,246,384)

A lawyer and a little girl named Susan must prove that a man claiming to be Santa Claus is the real thing. Cute and heartwarming film that will capture people heart, I haven’t watched this film for ages and I still remember this, the main lead is likeable and the casting is amazing. It might not be for everyone but it still heartfelt, it will silently draw you in from the start as this is enjoyable.
6.Die Hard ($143,651,650)

A New York City police officer tries to save his estranged wife and several others taken hostage by terrorists during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles. Entertaining Christmas action film with all of those elements together, it certainly works and it feels like an epic style of film, the villain is perfectly sinister as this is action packed. It never loses the story itself and that is the key to this film, this is the ultimate action film that people wanted.
5.Home Alone ($285, 761,243)

An eight-year-old troublemaker, mistakenly left home alone, must defend his home against a pair of burglars on Christmas Eve. For me personally it’s Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci chemistry that made this film funny, the main lead is likeable and the film itself is enjoyable, it is heartfelt and it can move you at the same time, if you wanted a light-hearted Christmas film this is ideal.
4.How The Grinch Stole Christmas ($260,044,825)

On the outskirts of Whoville lives a green, revenge – seeking Grinch who plans to ruin Christmas for all of the citizens of the town. Don’t judge this film as this is surprisingly good, it deals with the bullying aspect and for me personally it is important, the story is spot on and this will move you. It’s the acting that made this film believable, this film is certainly memorable.
3.A Christmas Carol ($137,855,863)

Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old moneylender is visited by three Christmas spirits on Christmas Eve. Scrooge embarks on a journey of self – redemption to mend his miserly ways. Gorgeous looking animation film with an all – star vocal cast, the story is wonderful and the film in general is eye catching, it could be rather dark for the younger generation, this will draw you in.
2.The Holiday ($205,897,080)

Amanda lives in LA and is a movie trailer editor. Iris lives in Surrey and is a journalist. The two decide to swap houses for two weeks at Christmas – both trying to forget their troubled love lives, until love finds them anyways. Having watched this film I thought wow as this is surprisingly good, the acting is totally convincing and believable. The pacing is perfect as it does hold your interest, this is a feel-good film which you needed, it also a calming type of film.

On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas. Just breathtaking as this film feel like an epic style of film, the scenery is outstanding as this is another film which is eye catching, you will about care about with these characters, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
