10.Whisper Of The Heart
A love story between a girl who loves reading books, and a boy who has previously checked out all of the library books she chooses. Too be honest with you I was surprised with this film. The story is beautiful and it will move you, the pacing is perfect as it certainly hold your interest, this is a slow burner type of film which will draws you in, in general this animation film is certainly memorable.
9.The Princess And The Frog
A waitress desperate to fulfil her dreams as a restaurant owner is set on a journey to turn a frog prince back into a human, but she has to face the same problem after she kisses him. A love story that set in the Jazz era. The songs itself are catchy and memorable, it also a diversity type of film which is important, it is watchable from start to finish, it is heartfelt and eye catching.
8.The AristoCats
With the help of a smooth-talking tomcat, a family of Parisian felines set to inherit a fortune from their owner try to make it back home after a jealous butler kidnaps them and leave them in the country. Beautiful handmade animation film and it will capture people heart. This also a love story with the two main leads, it will silently draw you in from the start, the film itself is genuinely funny and it is easy to watch, if you wanted a light-hearted film this is ideal.
7.Aladdin
A kind – hearted street urchin and a power – hungry Grand Vizier vie for a magic lamp that has the power to make their deepest wishes come true. For me personally it’s the vocal in this film that stand out for me, the romantic element to this film is wonderful, the balance of the darker elements with the comedy aspect that works perfectly, in general this film is eye catching.
6.Beauty And The Beast
A prince cursed to spend his days as a hideous monster sets out to regain his humanity by earning a young woman’s love. Once I watched this film I thought wowed. This is another film which the songs are catchy, it also another film which the balance of the darker elements with the lighter aspect, it has got some nice moment in this film, overall, this is an easy to watch film.
5.Tangled
The magically long – haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now that a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to discover the world for the first time, and who she really is. Gorgeous looking animation film with stunning scenery. this is like a love story with two unlikely characters, it is another film which is eye catching from the start, this is simply a nice and uplifting film, this is pure escapism and a rainy-day type of film.
4.Elemental
In a city where fire, water, land and air residents live together, a fiery young woman and a go – with – the – flow guy discover something elemental: how much they actually have in common. Multilayered love story which is genuinely moving. The vocal in this film is spot on and brim with comic one liner, the story is beautiful and it will capture people heart, it is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, if you wanted a simple and a feel-good film this is ideal for you.
3.Shrek (2001 – 2010)
A mean lord exiles fairytale creatures to the swamp of a grumpy ogre, who must go on a quest and rescue a princess for the lord in order to get his land back, he also goes on an adventures and meeting people along this way. With an all-star vocal cast and brim with comic one liner. The characters are great and these films are consistent, it never feels too hyperactive or too sentimental, these films will made you smile, overall, this is entertaining and heartfelt.
2.Up (2009)
78-year-old Carl Fredricksen travels to South America in his house equipped with balloons, inadvertently taking a young stowaway. One of those film that deals with life, memories and love all in one, it is a relatable film and it will leave you a lasting impression on you, it is funny and silently powerful at the same time, the characters are great and it is one of the best Pixar films.
1.WALL.E
A robot who is responsible for cleaning a waste – covered Earth meets another robot and falls in love with her. Together, they set out on a journey that will alter the fate of mankind. Futuristic love story that will touch your heart, the idea and the story behind this film is superb. It is a calming type of film that you needed, it is entertaining and fun as this is watchable, this is superb.
