10.The Art Of Racing In The Rain

Through his bond with his owner, aspiring Formula One race car driver Denny, golden retriever Enzo learns that the techniques needed on the racetrack can also be used to successfully navigate the journey of life. It could be on the verve of too sentimental and rather forced for some people, the acting is amazing and totally believable. This film will made you appreciate of families and friends and that is important, it is one of those film that will draw you in, this is rather good.
9.Easy A

When Olive lies to her best friend about losing her virginity to one of the college boys, a girl overhears their conversation. Soon, her story spreads across the entire school like wildfire. One of those film that will divide people. The message behind this film is the perception of people and what people thinking of you, this will ring true to many people as this is a relatable film, I reckon it will surprise many people, it has got an all star cast as this is a watchable film.
8.The Orphanage (2007)

A woman brings her family back to her childhood home, which used to be an orphanage for handicapped children. Before long, her son starts to communicate with an invisible new friend. Not many psychological horrors film will move you. It deals with the afterlife and that is an important subject, it will creep you under your skin. You will care about with these characters, once you watch this you will always remember this film, this is certainly memorable.
7.The Bucket List

Two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to – dos before they die. For me personally it’s the chemistry between Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman that is spot on. It about travelling and the unlikely friendships which I like, it is sad but it is also uplifting at the same time, it has got some nice moment in this film, this is a beautiful film.
6.The Impossible

The story of a tourist family in Thailand caught in the destruction and chaotic aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Could be rather hard hitting for some people, this is silently powerful and it about hope and determination, it will move you and it will draw you in, the acting is amazing and you will care about with these characters.
5.The Danish Girl

A fictitious love story loosely inspired by the lives of Danish artists Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener. Lili and Gerda’s marriage and work evolve as they navigate Lili’s groundbreaking journey as a transgender pioneer. Personally, it’s the subject matter that ring true to me, with the LGBTQ aspect that made this watchable. The chemistry between the main two lead is excellent, once you watched this you will always remember this, this is powerful and it will move you.
4.A Monster Calls

Conor, a twelve-year-old boy, encounters an ancient tree monster who proceeds to help him cope with his mother’s terminal illness and being bullied in school. A film that will touch people heart. It about bullying and grief and people will connect with that, it is eye catching from start to finish, it a mixture of fantasy with the terminal illness aspect, in general this is a relatable film.
3.Kubo And The Two Strings

A young boy named Kubo must locate a magical suit of armour worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past. The personal journey aspect which I personally connect with. The scenery is outstanding with a beautiful story, the vocal in this film is superb and brims with comic one liner, the characters are great and relatable, this is suitable for all ages.
2.A Man Called Ove

Ove, an ill – tempered, isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife’s grave, has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbours. Beautiful film which is about life as this is life – affirming. It will leave you a lasting impression on you, it is one of the best foreign films, you will always remember this.
1.Inside Out (2015 – 2024)

As the years go by, new emotions begin to enter the headquarters of a young female who has travelled a far away. Along the way. Calming type of film with great characters. This dealing with mental illness and that is close to my heart, it is enjoyable and fun as it didn’t take itself too seriously, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, it is heartfelt as these are superb.
