The story of Michael Ausiello and Kit Cowan’s relationship, which takes a tragic turn when Cowan is diagnosed with terminal cancer. I admire this film that try to be something different, it can be rather surreal in places; it has got some nice moment in this film. Overall, this is silently powerful and it will move you, this is certainly memorable, it is a beautiful and heartfelt film.
9.Gifted (2017)
Frank, a single man raising his child prodigy niece Mary, is drawn into a custody battle with his mother. For me personally it’s the chemistry between Chris Evans and Mckenna Grace, with them two they made this film beautiful. The acting in general is amazing and totally believable, the ending is superb as it never feels too predictable, it will capture people heart.
8.Eat Prey Love
A married woman realizes how unhappy her marriage really is, and that her life needs to go in a different direction. After a painful divorce, she takes off on around the world journey to “find herself”. Perfectly paced film which certainly hold your interest. It quietly draws you in from start to finish, it is fun and joyous film that didn’t take itself too seriously, overall, this is a relatable film that will made you smile.
7.Hachi: A Dog’s Tale
A professor finds an abandoned dog and takes him home. Over a period of time, he forms an unbreakable bond with the dog. At first I didn’t know this film based on a true story. It could be on the verve of too sentimental and rather forced for some people, despite that this is watchable from the start, it will move you as this is uplifting, it is a superbly made film.
6.Goodbye Christopher Robin
The relationship between writer AA Milne and his son, Christopher Robin, and how this becomes the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh. Beautiful father and son type of film which is silently powerful. It deals with fame and the consequences and that is an important subject, it is another film which the acting is amazing, it will move you from start to finish, you will care about with these characters as this is relatable.
5.Society Of The Snow
The flight of a rugby team crashes on a glacier in the Andes. The few passengers who survive the crash find themselves in one of the world’s toughest environments to survive. Could be rather hard hitting for some people. it’s more the ending that will touch your heart, the scenery is outstanding as it will draws you in, the pacing is perfect as it does hold your interest, once you watch this film you will always remember this.
4.The Call Of The Wild (2020)
Buck, a giant yet generous dog, feels helpless when he is abducted from his home and transported to the remote Yukon, when Perrault decides to use him for his dog sled mail operations. One of those film that is watchable and this is a calming type of film. The story is beautiful and it will move you, the casting is spot on and they all convince in their roles, the reason why this is a tearjerker it feels like you go on a journey, this is my go-to film.
3.The Half Of It
When smart but cash – strapped teen Ellie Chu agrees to write a love letter for a jock, she doesn’t expect to become his friend – or fall for his crush. Heartfelt LGBTQ film which is relatable. It also another film which you will care about with these characters, it also a feminism type of film which is important, it is a well-made film, overall, this is beautiful.
2.I Kill Giants
Twelve-year-old Barbara Thorson struggles through life by escaping into a fantasy life of magic and monsters. Gorgeous looking film which I personally connect with. It about life and death which people will connect with, this is a coming-of-age film about terminal illness with the fantasy element, for me personally it certainly works, it will touch people heart.
1.The Wild Robot
After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. Eye catching and an epic style of film which is memorable. The scenery looks outstanding and the visual is amazing, it about family and finding yourself plus with an environmental message, it will leave you a lasting impression on you as this is heartfelt, it is cute as this is an inoffensive film which is heartwarming.
