Personally, this would be potential film will be CGI/SFX, the good thing about Gil Kenan it can balances the darker elements with the lighter aspect, he would delve into the mythological of this film, it would be eye catching from start to finish.

Nelly has just lost her grandmother and is helping her parents clean out her mother’s childhood home. She explores the house and the surrounding woods. One day she meets a girl her age building a tree – house. I noticed with Amma Asante films they mainly about human connection. She would be ideal to direct his, she is one of those directors who would made this powerful, it probably leaves you a lasting impression on you, this could win an award.
1.Shoplifters (Cert 12A) Dir Simon Curtis
A family that survives by shoplifting brings an abused child into the fold. A death, however, sets into motion a series of events that causes them to take a deeper look at some aspects of their lives. Every film that Simon Curtis made there is always a message. It would be about homelessness and the meaning of family, he also thought about the casting and that is the key, with his version it would be relatable and life affirming, this would touch people heart.
