10. I’m Your Man (2021)

In order to obtain research funds for her studies, a scientist accepts an offer to participate in an extraordinary experiment: for three weeks, she is to live with a humanoid robot, created to make her happy. Despite the midsection loses it way. It might lack a bit of charm but if you get past that, this is still watchable. The chemistry between the two stars is superb, the acting in general is believable and totally convincing, if you wanted something different this is ideal.

9.Pacific Rim: Uprising

Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost, reunites with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots, including rival Lambert and 15 years old hacker Amara, against a new Kaiju threat. I haven’t watched this film in ages. In some ways I prefer this one than the first film, this doesn’t seem rushed and the film itself takes it time, the three lead have got superb chemistry together. It might not be groundbreaking but it still a good film, this is a superbly made film.

8.The Terminator

A cyborg assassin from the future attempts to find and kill a young woman who is destined to give birth to a warrior that will lead a resistance to save humankind from extinction. Could be rather dated for some people, it silently good and for me personally I found Michael Biehn slightly bland, despite that it is one of those film that will surprise you, it is a well-made film.

7.Iron Man

After being held for captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer Tony Stark creates a unique weaponized suit of armour to fight evil. Being a trilogy I personally prefer the first one. It has got some robots element, it has got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, the set pieces are good and this is generally exciting, it is fun and didn’t take itself too seriously.

6.Transformers One

The untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but who once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. Eye catching film which is easy to follow. The animation itself is gorgeous to look at, it might feel slightly hyperactive and it takes itself too seriously, the story is there and the vocal in this film is good.

5.Robots (2005)

In a robot world, a young idealistic inventor travels to the big city to join his inspiration’s company, only to find himself opposing its sinister new management. A cute film that will made you smile. It is an inoffensive film which is suitable for all ages, the story and the vocal in this film is certainly spot on, it is one of those film which is a calming type of film, this is a heartwarming film.

4.The Creator

Against the backdrop of a war between humans and robots with artificial intelligence, a former soldier finds the robot’s secret weapon to end the conflict, an AI in the form of a child. Gorgeous looking film with stunning scenery, I just feel in general the midsection loses it way. It will silently draw you in from start to finish, it like a thrill ride type of film, this is seriously a pretty good film.

3.The Mitchells Vs The Machines

A quirky, dysfunctional family’s road trip is upended when they find themselves in the middle of the robot apocalypse and suddenly become humanity’s unlikeliest last hope. Having watched this film I thought wow, it might be slightly full on for some people. it about family and that is important, this is funny and heartfelt at the same time, this is a pure escapism type of film.

2.The Electric State

An orphaned teen hits the road with a mysterious robot to find her long – lost brother, teaming up with a smuggler and his wisecracking sidekick. For me personally it isn’t about the CGI/ SFX. this is more character driven than you expected, the flashback element with the brother and the sister is silently powerful, it got a political edge and it can be funny in places, it will surprise many people.

1.The Wild Robot

After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. Just breathtaking as this is another film with stunning scenery. the animation itself is gorgeous to look at, the personal journey aspect which I personally connect with, it will leave you a lasting impression on you, once you watched this you will always remember this film.
