10.Potty The Plant (Cert PG) Dir James Bobin
Potty! A singing, talking, top dancing, potted plant. When mysterious events begin to occur at Little Boo Boo’s General Hospital, a ragtag bunch of dysfunctional nurses must pull together to save the day. The good thing about James Bobin he would make this a childlike film. it will be an all – star cast, he would focus on the story and the look of it, this will be like a live action film with a mixture of CGI/SFX, it would also be a family viewing type of film.
9.Stiletto (Cert 12A) Dir Peter Cattaneo
Set in 18th – century Italy, Stiletto follow Marco, a young castrato singer navigating the opulent yet perilous world of venetian opera. His life changes when he meets Gioia; confident, strong willed and supremely talented. With Peter Cattaneo he can made a variety of different genre, Maybe a newcomer would play the main lead, he would focus on the period and the character driven aspect, he would made this film watchable from start to finish, Plus the right pacing.
8.Coven (Cert 15) Dir Guillermo Del Toro
A witch hunt is raging and a 9-year-old Jennet accuses her own family of witchcraft, 21 years later, she finds herself imprisoned, surrounded by the most feared women in town. My first thought it should be Guillermo Del Toro who direct this, he would cast newcomers in this potential film, it will be dark but intriguing at the same time, this would be an Oscar Winner.
7.King Of Pangea (Cert PG) Dir Travis Knight
Following the sudden loss of his mother, 21-year-old Christopher Crow embarks on a poignant journey back to the imaginary island of Pangea. Personally, with Travis Knight his films deal with personal journey, maybe Art Parkinson would play the main lead, Travis Knight would delve with the mythological aspect, this would be moving and it could be a family viewing type of film.
6.Marie & Rosetta (Cert 12A) Dir Chloe Zhao
A long – overdue spotlight on Rosetta and her singing partner Marie Knight, celebrating two trailblazing women in American music history. Set in Mississippi in 1946. Feminist type of play that would be a potential film, Chloe Zhao would be perfect to direct this with stunning scenery and the period itself, it will move you and it will be powerful, this would be an Oscar Winner.
5.The Choir Of Man (Cert 12A) Dir Chris Foggin
“The Choir of Man” is a West End musical that takes place in a pub called “The Jungle” where a group of nine men sing and interact with audience members, creating a lively and immersive experience. There is one man who could put it off. It is Chris Foggin as he made this an underdog type of film, maybe the cast of his previous films would be the casting, overall, the message will be about friendship, community, and men’s mental health.
4.Dear England (Cert PG) Dir Dexter Fletcher
Dear England, is a play about England football manager Gareth Southgate, the pressures of elite sport, and the role of the national men’s football team in the national psyche. Dexter Fletcher normally made uplifting and crowd pleaser type of film, he is ideal to made this into a film, maybe a newcomer would play Gareth Southgate, it would be a feel-good experience.
3.The Mad Ones (Cert 12) Dir Anne Fletcher
When Kelly is killed in a car wreck, Sam loses not only her best friend but also the part of herself that was learning to be brave. Now Sam has to make a decision. One thing with Anne Fletcher she made feminism type of film, Taylor Henderson would be Kelly and Julie Journey Brener would be Sam, With Anne Fletcher she can deal with heavy subject, it will be moving.
2.Starlight Express (Cert U) Dir Paul King
Rusty, a steam engine, who dreams of being the fastest train in the world and impresses Pearl, a first – class observation car. Quietly Paul King would made this a childlike film. Samuel Joslin would be the main lead; plus, Madeleine Harris would be the character, Pearl. It will be a coming-of-age tale with a childlike perspective, this will be funny and heartfelt at the same time.
1.Girl From The North Country (Cert PG – 13) Dir Simon Curtis
Nick Laine’s wife is suffering from dementia. Their daughter Marianne has a guarded secret that no one can explain, she will start a relationship with a convict that will change everything for everyone forever in a timeless love story. Being a Simon Curtis potential film, it will be powerful and it could leave you a lasting impression on you, the casting would be from his previous films. It will be memorable and it will be silently moving, this would be watchable.
