10.Catwoman
A sly woman, endowed with the speed, reflexes, and senses of a cat, walks a thin line between criminal and hero, even as a detective doggedly pursues her, fascinated by both of her personas. I got this film from my public library. I still remember this film as this is memorable, it might not be perfect but it still watchable, for me personally it’s the story that will draw you in. it is one of those film that will divide people, if you wanted a feminism type of film this is ideal.
9.Madame Web
Forced to confront her past, Cassandra Webb, a Manhattan paramedic that may have clairvoyant abilities, forms a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures, if they can survive their threatening present. Don’t get the hate for this film. It might not be perfect but this is still watchable, the flashback element never gets too overcomplicated, it is another feminism type of film which is refreshing, I reckon it will surprise many people.
8.Daredevil
A man blinded by toxic waste which also enhanced his remaining senses fights crime as an acrobatic martial arts superhero. Another film which I got from my public library. I still remember this film as this is memorable, this is action packed but it never loses the story itself, it slowly draws you in from start to finish, it might not be groundbreaking. This is superbly made film.
7.Black Adam
After being granted with the divine power of the Egyptian Gods and spending almost 5000 years in a guardhouse, Black Adam is freed and he decides to unloose his own style of justice to the world. Having watched this film I thought it was pretty good. It delves deep into the mythological aspect and that is the key, the acting is convincing and totally believable, this is eye catching from the start. The CGI/SFX is truly outstanding, it has got good set pieces as this is exciting.
6.Ant – Man (2015 – 2018)
A con artist named Scott Lang gets a shot at redemption when his mentor asks him to protect a super – powered suit, Scott battling many enemies along his way. Calming and easy to watch film which is genuinely funny. It has got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, the characters are great and relatable, it is heartwarming and a cute film that will capture people heart. The message of these films is family and that is important, these films are consistent.
5.Aquaman
Arthur Curry, the human – born heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, goes on a quest to prevent a war between the worlds of ocean and land. Eye catching film with stunning scenery. It might be action packed but it never loses the story itself, the pacing is perfect as it does hold your interest, the underwater scenes are truly outstanding, it is genuinely a good film.
4.Iron Man
After being held captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer Tony Stark creates a unique weaponized suit of armour to fight evil. Being a trilogy this one is the best. It didn’t take itself too seriously and it has got an all-star cast; this is easy to watch as the story is simple, the villain is perfectly sinister, the set pieces is exciting and a thrill ride type of film, this is silently excellent.
3.Doctor Strange
While on a journey of physical and spiritual healing, a brilliant neurosurgeon is drawn into the world of the mystic arts. First time I watched this I wasn’t sure. When I looked back this is impressive, this is different and it certainly stand out. The casting is perfect and they all convince in their roles, it is another film which delves deep into the mythological aspects, this is superb.
2.Captain America: The First Avenger
During World War II, Steve Rogers decides to volunteer in an experiment that transforms his weak body. He must now battle a secret Nazi organisation headed by Johann Schmidt to defend his nation. Got to admit something this is the only Captain America film, which I enjoy more. It has got a multilayered story, another villain which is certainly memorable. It does hold your interest as it silently draws you in, if you wanted an all – star superhero film this is ideal.
1.Spider – Man Animation (2018 – 2023)
Miles Morales returns once again to save the multiverse! After being reunited with Gwen Stacy, Miles races across the multiverse to try and defeat a powerful foe known as the Spot. Just breathtaking as the animation itself look gorgeous. It also a diversity film which is important, this will move you as this is silently powerful, it has got some nice moment in this film. The characters are great and relatable, overall, this is entertaining and heartfelt at the same time.
