After the disappearance of her scientist father, three peculiar beings send Meg, her brother, and her friend to space in order to find him. It might feel slightly overcomplicated and it doesn’t gel or flow together as much. Despite that this has got a beautiful story, it is a beautiful coming of age film, it has got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles. It is eye catching and it does hold your interest, it has got some nice moments as this is powerful.

9.My Father’s Dragon (Dir Nora Twomey)

Elmer Elevator searches for a captive dragon on Wild Island and finds much more than he could ever have anticipated. Might not offer you anything new or fresh. it can feel safe and too predictable. that is the only negative in this film, the animation itself is gorgeous to look at as this is easy to watch, it about friendship and it does have nice moment, this is silently good.

8.Hocus Pocus 2 (Dir Anne Fletcher)

Two young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child – hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world. Another film which doesn’t gel or flow together as much. it isn’t laughs out loud funny, this is a major improvement of the first film, this is more characters driven and it will draw you in. It is entertaining from start to finish, it might not be groundbreaking but it still watchable.

7.Frozen (Dir Jennifer Lee)

Fearless optimist Anna teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven in an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa. Firstly, I know Jennifer Lee is a co – director to this film. Being a musical it will divide people, the songs are catchy and memorable, it has got great characters in this film, it can be funny in places and it will made you smile.

6.Abominable (Dir Jill Culton)

Three teenagers must help a Yeti return to his family while avoiding a wealthy man and a zoologist who want him for their own needs. This might feel too safe and too predictable. It doesn’t offer you anything new or fresh. Despite that this is cute and heartwarming, this is suitable for all ages, it is an inoffensive film and it will made you smile, it is fun and joyous.

5.Doctor Dolittle (Dir Betty Thomas)

Dr. John Dolittle, a veterinarian, discovers he can communicate with animals. He uses his newfound ability to help animals and solve problems. One of those film that will divide people. Some will like this and some don’t, it is cute, heartwarming and funny at the same time, it is watchable from start to finish, if you wanted an inoffensive film this is ideal for you.

4.Herbie Fully Loaded (Dir Angela Robinson)

Maggie Peyton, the new owner of Herbie, Number 53, the free – wheeling Volkswagen bug with a mind of its own, puts the car through its paces on the road to becoming a NASCAR competitor. Personally, I don’t get the hate for this film. It is an underdog type of film as this is a crowd pleaser, the ending will move you as it is silently powerful, it might be predictable for some people as this is a sport movie. The casting is spot on, overall, this film is perfectly watchable.

3.The Secret Garden (Dir Agnieszka Holland)

A young, recently – orphaned girl is sent to England after living in India all of her life. Once there, she begins to explore her new, seemingly – isolated surroundings, and its secrets. Silently good film as this is quietly moving. I haven’t watched this film for ages and I still remember this film, this is memorable and it like a slow burner type of film, the casting is perfect, this is a well-made film.

2.Black Beauty (Dir Ashley Avis)

A wild horse and a teenage girl forge an unbreakable bond which keeps them connected for a lifetime. Quietly this film will touch people heart. I personally connect with the personal journey aspect with this film, the acting is amazing and totally convincing, it never feels forced or too sentimental and that is the key, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.

1.Kung Fu Panda 2 (Dir Jennifer Yuh Nelson)

Po and his friends fight to stop a peacock villain from conquering China with a deadly new weapon, but first the Dragon Warrior must come to terms with his past. Behind this film it has got a message of believe in yourself. People will connect with that aspect, the vocal in this film is superb and brims with comic one liner, it has got stunning scenery and the villain is certainly memorable. This is the ultimate family film, it suitable for all ages and a family viewing.
