This is a period film that will draws you in, the flashback element gives this film the emotional aspect. It is quietly powerful and it will move you. It also explores the father and son relationship and that is important, overall, this film is relatable for people, once you watched this you will always remember it.
9.Wendell & Wild

Two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot to summon them to the Land of the Living. Could be rather full on for the younger generation. It has got a multilayered story and this will move you, it has got an element of personal journey which people can relate to, it is eye catching from start to finish, it is beautiful and heartfelt.
8.The Breadwinner

In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. Being a war film this could be hard to watch. It also about female empowerment and that is important, plus this is a diversity type of film, with those elements together this film is generally important. It also a good subject matter within with this film, this is silently moving and powerful film.
7.Kubo And The Two Strings

A young boy named Kubo must locate a magical suit of armour worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past. A film which has got stunning scenery as this is eye catching. It also another film which about the personal journey aspect, it has got an all-star vocal cast, it’s the ending that will move you the most, overall, this film will surprise many people.
6.The Wild Robot

After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. Everything about this film ticked all the boxes. It has got a beautiful story and it about kindness, it has got the theme of environmental and explore that, the animation itself is gorgeous to look at, if you wanted an animation film that is suitable for all ages this is ideal.
5.Ferdinand

After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Heartwarming and a cute film that will made you smile. The soundtrack is amazing and catchy, I like the message of being yourself and stay true to yourself, people will relate to that as this is beautiful, it is one of those film that is charming and funny at the same time.
4.Rango

Rango is an ordinary chameleon who accidentally winds up in the town of Dirt, a lawless outpost in the Wild West in desperate need of a new sheriff. Gorgeous looking film that will draw you in. it can be laugh out loud funny, the film itself is certainly memorable from start to finish, it about perception and what people thinking of you. People will connect with that aspect; it is action packed but it never loses the story itself, if you wanted something different this is ideal.
3.Inside Out (2015 – 2024)

Teenager Riley’s mind headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. Fantastic film which is heartfelt from the start. It about mental health from a kid perspective, this is refreshing with a sensitive topic, it is charming and funny at the same time. It has got great characters, both films are consistent and watchable.
2.Big Hero 6

A special bond develops between plus – sized inflatable robot Baymax and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who together team up with a group of friends to form a band of high – tech heroes. It is one of those film that will touch people heart. Appreciated friends and family plus reaching out for them, that is the message to this film, it is powerful and it will move you. It will leave you a lasting impression on you, once you watch this film you will always remember this.
1.Up

78-year-old Carl Fredricksen travels to South America in his house equipped with balloons, inadvertently taking a young stowaway. Just breathtaking as this film have got stunning scenery. It about loss, life, memories and chasing your dreams, it is one of those film that is relatable for people, I also like the unlikely friendship aspect and that is refreshing. It is another film that will leave you a lasting impression on you, this is one of the best Pixar films.
I agree that Kubo and The Breadwinner were great films.
