10.Godmothered

An unskilled young fairy godmother ventures out on her own to prove her worth by tracking down a young girl whose request for help was ignored. The film itself doesn’t gel or flow together as much. It can feel slightly cartoony in places, if you get past all of that this is an underdog type of film, the acting is believable and totally convincing. It is a Christmas film that is perfectly watchable, overall if you wanted a joyous and fun film this is ideal.

9.Hocus Pocus 2

Two young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters to modern – day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child – hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world. Overall, this film doesn’t quite gel together. The song in this film isn’t as memorable, despite that this film is entertaining and enjoyable, it is well casted especially Doug Jones as he is hilarious. This is a major improvement of the first film, as this is one of the best sequels.

8.Pinocchio (2022 Disney Plus)

A puppet is brought to life by a fairy, who assigns him to lead a virtuous life in order to become a real boy. Personally, I don’t get the hate for this film. The CGI/SFX is truly outstanding and eye catching. The only thing with this film, is the musical elements as this aspect is weak, the ending is superb as this a new spin on the film itself, I reckon it will surprise many people with this film.

7.Peter Pan & Wendy

Follows the adventures of Peter Pan, a boy who does not want to grow up, and how he recruits three siblings in London. Still don’t get the hate for this film. The story is beautiful and it will draw you in from start to finish, the villain isn’t scary or memorable, despite that this is eye catching and perfectly watchable, if you wanted a clever spin on a Disney classic this is ideal for you.

6.Luca (2021)

On the Italian Riviera, an unlikely but strong friendship grows between a human being and a sea monster disguised as a human. Remarkable cute film which is genuinely heartfelt. The animation itself is gorgeous to look at; it might feel a bit safe, as it doesn’t quite reach the height of other Pixar films, despite that this is watchable from start to finish, this film is suitable for all ages.

5.Boston Strangler (2023)

Loretta McLaughlin was the reporter who first connected the murders and broke the story of the Boston Strangler. She and Jean Cole challenged the sexism of the early 1960s to report on the city’s most notorious serial killer. Nearly perfect as this film lacks the psychological element. That is the only thing but it will draw you in, it is a mystery/thriller which has got a feminism lead which is refreshing, the casting is perfect and totally convincing, this is superbly made film.

4.Soul (2020)

Joe Gardner is a middle school music teacher, pursuing his dreams of playing with great jazz musicians in his time outside of teaching. In the pursuit of his dream, he stumbles into a new world. Majestic film which about life in general. The film itself is quietly powerful and it will move you; it can get slightly overcomplicated for the younger generation, despite that this is a diversity film which is important, It has got some nice moment in this film, it will touch people heart.

3.Togo (2019)

The story of Togo, the sled dog who led the 1925 serum run despite being considered too small and weak to lead such an intense race. Visually the scenery in this film is outstanding. It can be exciting and it does hold your interest, the midsection falters just a little bit, but overall, this is silently good and powerful, once you watch this film you will always remember this.

2.Black Beauty (2020)

A wild horse and a teenage girl forge an unbreakable bond which keeps them connected for a lifetime. Underneath the sentimental aspect this is a beautiful film. You will care about with these characters, it is real, honest and relatable film that will touch people heart, it might not be suitable for cynical type of people, this is heartwarming and heartfelt at the same time.

A look at interviews of fans of Jim Henson, interspersed with footage from his works including Wilkins and Wontkins commercials that was previously lost. You will be pleasantly surprised with this documentary. It about families, life and chasing your dream which I personally connect to, it will move people as this is genuinely moving, this documentary is interesting and the subject matter is spot on, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
