10.Over The Hedge
A raccoon comes to live in a little forest on the boundary of a town. It decides to stay as close to the town as possible in order to take advantage of the free food available in the town. Cute and heartwarming film which is surprisingly good. The characters are great as they are relatable, the story is simple and this is perfectly watchable, it has got an all-star vocal cast and it brim with comic one liner, this is funny and heartfelt at the same time.
9.Monsters Vs Aliens
Susan Murphy is struck by a meteorite on her wedding day. She turns into a giant monster and becomes a part of a team of monsters that have come together to save the world from an alien mastermind. Entertaining and exciting film with stunning set pieces. It might be action packed but it never loses the story itself, it is another film which has got great characters, it also another film which is genuinely funny, it will surprise many people.
8.Trolls (2016)
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the curmudgeonly Branch set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Don’t judge this film as this has got great comic timing. It might not be for everyone as this will divide people, the soundtrack is catchy and the film itself is eye catching. It like a childlike film which is aimed for all ages, it is one of those film that will made you smile, overall, this film is fun.
7.Mr Peabody & Sherman
Sherman, a young boy, misuses a time machine made by his scientist father Mr. Peabody and causes the world history to go haywire. It is now up to Mr. Peabody to rescue his son and the world. It is one of those film which has got historical aspect. For me personally it certainly works, it also dealing with time traveling and it never gets too overcomplicated, this is the key to this film as this is memorable, you will always remember this film.
6.Early Man
Dug, a caveman, and his sidekick, Hognob, try to gather people to fight against Lord Nooth who wishes to transform their land into a mine for his selfish gains. Joyous type of film which capture people heart, it is an underdog type of film, this is heartwarming and it will made you smile; it might be predictable but this is heartfelt, this is calming and it is perfectly watchable.
5.Wendell & Wild
Two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot to summon them to the Land of the Living. Gorgeous looking animation film which draws you in. it has got a multilayered story as it got that emotional aspect, it might be full on with the younger generation, you will care about with these characters, this is a beautiful coming of age film.
4.Shark Tale
When a son of a gangster shark boss is accidentally killed while on the hunt, his would – be prey and his vegetarian brother decide to use the incident to their own advantage. Fame and the consequences that is the message of this film. It is another film which divide many people, the soundtrack is catchy and memorable, it can be funny in places, it is enjoyable and fun.
3.DC League Of Super – Pets
The Justice League are mysteriously kidnapped; it’s up to the League of Super Pets to save their masters and defeat Lex Luthor at his own game. Having watched this film I thought wow. This also got a multilayered story; the message of this film is friendships and that is important, It is action packed but it never loses the story itself, this is suitable for a rainy day as it is pure escapism, it feels epic as it like a thrill ride type of film.
2.Bee Movie
A young male bee does everything that he can to restore all of the honey that the humans have taken and are selling. Behind this film it has got an environmental and ecological message. It can be laugh out loud funny, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing film, the vocal in this film is spot on, once you watch this you will always remember this.
1.The Bad Guys
To avoid prison, a gang of notorious animal criminals pretends to seek being rehabilitated, only for their leader to realize that he genuinely wants to change his ways. A heist film that tries to be something different which I admire. I like the message of appearances which I personally connect with, this is another film which is laugh out loud funny, the vocal is excellent as it brims with comic one liner, if you wanted something different this is ideal.
