Keep being yourself and let people love you as you are. That is the message to this film, people will relate to that aspect, it might be on the verve of too sentimental for some people, despite that this is quietly powerful and heartfelt.

During World War II, 855 women joined the fight to fix the three-year backlog of undelivered mail. Faced with discrimination and a country devastated by war, they managed to sort more than 17 million pieces of mail ahead of time. Needed to know this film is based on a true story which I didn’t know. It pays respect to those people who inspires this film, the acting is convincing and believable, this film is certainly memorable from start to finish, this film will move you.
8.Ticket To Paradise (IMDB – 6.1/10)

A divorced couple teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago. Might be too predictable for some people. It is genuinely heartfelt and heartwarming at the same time, it is one of those film that will made people smile, it is funny and charming as it is an inoffensive film, this will surprise many people.
7.Mulan (IMDB – 5.8/10)

To keep her ailing father from serving in the Imperial Army, a fearless young woman disguises herself as a man and battles northern invaders in China. Lots of exciting set pieces that is eye catching from the start. It might be action packed but it never loses the story itself, it also didn’t take itself too seriously and that is the key, the CGI/SFX is amazing, it has got everything in a film.
6.Carry On /2024/ (IMDB – 6.5/10)

A mysterious traveller blackmails a young TSA agent into letting a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Eve Flight. Xmas type of film which is like a thrill ride type of film. It might not be groundbreaking but it still entertaining, the villain is perfectly sinister and memorable, the story itself is spot on, overall if you wanted a different type of Christmas film this is ideal.
5.The Blair Witch Project (IMDB – 6.5/10)

Three film students vanish after traveling into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend, leaving only their footage behind. Lots of spooky moment in this superbly psychological horror film. It delves deep into the mythological aspect, it will creep you under your skin, it never feels too predictable and that is the key, you will always remember this film.
4.Unstoppable /2010/ (IMDB – 6.8/10)

With an unmanned, half – mile – long freight train barrelling toward a city, a veteran engineer and a young conductor race against the clock to prevent a catastrophe. Zesty and fast-paced film which is certainly action packed. It never loses the story itself and that is the key, this is more character driven than you expected, this is entertaining from start to finish, this will surprise many people.
3.Wendell & Wild (IMDB – 6.4/10)

Two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild, enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot to summon them to the Land of the Living. When I first watched this film I thought wow. It has got a multilayered story which is heartbreaking, this isn’t suitable for the younger generation, overall, this is a beautiful film that will touch people heart, it has got a lot of elements which people liked.
2.A United Kingdom (IMDB – 6.9/10)

The story of King Seretse Khama of Botswana and how his loving but controversial marriage to a British white woman, Ruth Wilson, put his kingdom into political and diplomatic turmoil. This film will move you as this is quietly powerful. It deals with the diversity element and that is important, the acting is amazing and totally believable, it has got stunning scenery, it is a heartfelt film.
1.Pete’s Dragon (IMDB – 6.7/10)

The adventures of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who happens to be a dragon. You will care about with these characters in this film. It never feels too sentimental and that is the key, I personally connect with the personal journey aspect, this is suitable for a family viewing type of film, it will made you smile with this film; it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
