After 26-year-old Suni suffers an accident on the streets of wintry Winnipeg, her overbearing mother Sara flies in from Seoul to be by her now comatose daughter’s side. The story might sound weird. Once I watched the trailer I thought it look surprisingly moving, this could be an Oscar winning type of film, this feel heartfelt and heartwarming, this could be a sleeper hits.
9.The Odyssey (17/07/2026)

After the Trojan War, Odysseus faces a dangerous voyage back to Ithaca, meeting creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and Circe along the way. Anything that Christopher Nolan do he always made his film his own way, this could feel epic and it probably draw you in from start to finish. it has got an amazing cast; plus this will be entertaining, with Christopher Nolan the pacing is spot on, it might delve deep into the mythological aspect, this look well made.
8.The Magic Faraway Tree (27/03/2026)

A modern family relocates to the countryside where the children discover a magical tree with eccentric residents. They’re transported to fantastical lands, rekindling their family bond through adventures. Potentially this would be a good film for all ages. The CGI/SFX look amazing and eye catching, this look like a pure escapism type of film, I just like the story to this film as it my type of film, overall, this film deserved a look at the cinema for me.
7.Reminders Of Him (17/03/2026)

After prison, a woman attempts to reconnect with her young daughter but face resistance from everyone except a bar owner with tries to her child. As they grow closer, she must confront her past mistakes to build a hopeful future. Having watched the trailer to this film, I thought it look pretty good. This would feel relatable with a sensitive topic, it probably one of those film you would care about with these characters, it might touch people heart with this film.
6.Song Sung Blue (01/01/2026)

Lightning and Thunder, a Milwaukee husband and wife Neil Diamond tribute act, experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together. I grow up listening to Neil Diamond and this film is ideal for me. It got that vibe of an underdog type of film which I like about, the songs might be catchy and the film itself look heartwarming, I think the message of this film is fame and the consequences, this film deserve a look at the cinema.
5.Mercy (23/01/2026)

In the near future, a detective stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge he once championed, before it determines his fate. Futuristic film that will probably made you think. I do like the idea to this film as it looks completely different, this is the only action blockbuster type of film that is on my list. It probably draws you in from start to finish, I’m sure this will be a box office hit.
4.The Bride (06/03/2026)

In 1930s Chicago, Frankenstein asks Dr. Euphronius to help create a companion. They give life to a murdered woman as the Bride, sparking romance, police interest, and radical social change. With an all-star cast with this film. It certainly draws my interest because of the story and the casting, I can imagine this can be brutal but this does look different, it is one of those film you would always remember, for me personally this film looks memorable.
3.Kangaroo (30/01/2026)

Disgraced TV Host, Chris, and a young indigenous girl, Charlie, who work together to rescue and rehabilitate a group of orphaned joeys in a remote Outback community. By the same studio that made Paddington. I’m hoping this isn’t too sentimental or too forced, this does look cute and heartwarming at the same time, if it set in the Outback it will have stunning scenery. This will be a family viewing type of film; it got that vibe of a calming type of film.
2.Solo Mio (06/02/2026)

A wedding disaster leaves the groom named Matt stranded in Rome, heartbroken in the world’s happiest city. Could be a nice film if you into a perfect romantic type of film. It got element of the personal journey aspect, this will be funny, heartwarming and heartfelt at the same time, I’m sure people will relate to this film, I reckon this film will surprise many people.
1.H Is For Hawk (23/01/2026)

After losing her beloved father, Helen finds herself saved by an unlikely friendship with a stubborn hawk named Mable. Of all these films that out in 2026 for me personally this is one to watch. It probably leaves you a lasting impression on you, this could be an Oscar winner with this film, this looks powerful and moving, with this film you would care about with these characters.
I’m looking forward to Hamnet in January, directed by Chloe Zhao!.
