5.Jurassic World: Rebirth (02/07/2025)

An expedition braves isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough. Perfectly paced film which certainly hold your interest. It never feels rushed and that is the key, this is more character driven than you expected, if you get past the brutal aspect it can be funny in places. The casting is perfect; it doesn’t gel or flow together as much but despite that this is entertaining.

4.The Salt Path (30/05/2025)

A couple lose their home and later discover the husband has been diagnosed with a terminal illness as they embark on a year long coastal trek. A slow burner type of film that will draw you in. The chemistry between the two main lead is superb, the flashback elements never get too overcomplicated and that is the key, I just feel in general it doesn’t gel or flow together as much, if you like a true story type of film this is ideal for you.

3.Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (12/09/2025)

In the summer of 1930, the Crawleys grapple with the threat of social disgrace when Mary finds herself at the centre of a public scandal and the family faces financial trouble. With an all star cast and they all convince in their roles. The ending is beautiful and it will capture people heart, it is heartwarming and it will made people smile, the only thing with this film it didn’t gel together as much, overall, this is a feel-good type of film which you needed.

2.Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy (13/02/2025)

After jumping back into the dating pool, single mother Bridget Jones finds herself caught between a younger man and her son’s science teacher. Not your unusual rom com and that is refreshing. It is perfectly watchable and the film itself is heartfelt, this will move you as this is genuinely powerful, it is an inoffensive film as this is relatable. Of all the Bridget Jones films this is the best one, it doesn’t gel or flow together as much but this still a heartwarming film.

1.A Big Bold Beautiful Journey (19/09/2025)

Through a surprising twist of fate, single strangers Sarah and David get to relive important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present. Seriously underrated as this is a heartfelt film. It might be weird and surreal but it needed that in this film, it about life in general and choosing your own paths, I personally relate to that message as this is quietly powerful, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
