5.Hotel Transylvania (2012 – 2015)
After the unforeseen love affair between species in Hotel Transylvania (2012), the isolated monster resort is now open to human visitors. With Mavis and Jonathan now happily married. Eye catching film with a superb story. The characters are great and brims with comic one liner, it might not be groundbreaking but these are entertaining, all together there have been four Hotel Transylvania films; The first two are the best for me personally as they are more enjoyable, it might not be for everyone but the idea is there.
4.Monsters Vs Aliens
Susan Murphy is struck by a meteorite on her wedding day. She turns into a giant monster and becomes a part of a team of monsters that have come together to save the world from an alien mastermind. One of those film that will divide people. The idea and the story behind this film is superb, it is entertaining from start to finish, I do like the message of appearances and that is important, overall, this film is certainly memorable.
3.The Sea Beast
When a young girl stows away on the ship of a legendary sea monster hunter, they launch an epic journey into uncharted waters and make history to boot. Despite the midsection falters just a little bit. If you get past that this is still exciting, the scenery is outstanding and it will draw you in, once you watch this film you will always remember this, it will surprise people.
2.Monster House
Three kids, DJ, Chowder, and Jenny discover that their neighbour’s house is really a living, breathing, scary monster. A clever twist on the monster genre which is refreshing. It has got a multilayered story and you will care about with these characters, the animation itself is gorgeous to look at, it can be funny in places, this film will certainly move you.
1.Monsters, Inc/ University (2001 – 2013)
Take a trip back in time to when star Monsters, Inc. employees Mike Wazowski and James P “Sully” Sullivan were just two promising young students at Monsters University. Cute and heartwarming film that will capture people heart. Both film are consistent and funny at the same time, the characters are great and relatable, these are inoffensive film and it is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, with these two film they are pure escapism and watchable.
