5.Dog Gone /2023/ (IMDB – 6.1/10)
Based on the true story of a father and son who repair their fractured relationship during a forced hike of the Appalachian trail to find their beloved lost dog. Doesn’t quite gel or flow together as much. Despite that this is perfectly watchable, this will move you from start to finish, the story is brilliant and it will draw you in, the scenery is beautiful as this is good.
4.Churchill (IMDB – 6.0/10)
During WWII, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill struggles with his decisions. As he second – guesses his decision on Operation Overlord, his wife, Clementine, inspires him to forge ahead. The opening sequences is certainly memorable. The acting is amazing and totally convincing, it is quietly powerful as it is a beautiful film, once you watched this film you will always remember this, it is a slow burner type of film as this is surprisingly a well-made film.
3.Public Enemies /2009/ (IMDB – 6.9/10)
The Feds try to take down notorious American gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd during a booming crime wave in the 1930s. Perfectly paced film which certainly hold your interest. It has got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, it is exciting and epic style of film, this is memorable from start to finish, overall, this is a superbly made film.
2.Nonnas (IMDB – 6.8/10)
After losing his beloved mother, a man risks everything to honour her by opening an Italian restaurant with actual grandmothers as the chefs. Another film which doesn’t gel or flow together as much. despite that this is perfectly watchable, the story and the acting is outstanding as it is a feel-good experience, this is heartwarming and cute film that will touch people heart. I also like the message of chasing your dream as this is a relatable film, it will surprise many people.
1.A United Kingdom (IMDB – 6.9/10)
The story of King Seretse Khama of Botswana and how his loving but controversial marriage to a British white woman, Ruth Williams, put his kingdom into political and diplomatic turmoil. One of those film you will care about with these characters. It has got beautiful scenery and the story will touch people heart, it will leave you a lasting impression on you, the acting is superb and totally believable. once you watched this film you will always remember this, it is a brilliant film.
