5.Operation Finale (IMDB – 6.6/10)

A team of secret agents sets out to track down the Nazi officer who masterminded the Holocaust. The midsection falters just a little bit, but despite that this is surprisingly good. It is a slow burner type of film, the story and the acting is superb and they all convince in their roles. The ending will move you as this is silently powerful, overall, this film is certainly memorable.

4.Boston Strangler (IMDB – 6.5/10)

Loretta McLaughlin a reporter for the Record – American newspaper, becomes the first journalist to connect the Boston Strangler murders. As the mysterious killer claims more and more victims. It may lack the psychological elements, but it still draws you in from start to finish. it does deal with the sexism in the early 1960s and that is an important subject, it is well casted and they all convince in their roles, once you watched this film you will always remember this.

3.The Finest Hours (IMDB – 6.7/10)

The Coast Guard makes a daring rescue attempt off the coast of Cape Cod after a pair of oil tankers are destroyed during a blizzard in 1952. Doesn’t quite gel or flow together as much. But despite that this can be exciting in some places, it certainly pays respect to those people behind this film, it has got an all star cast as the acting is superb and totally convincing. The story will draw you in from start to finish, if you into true story type of film this is ideal for you.

2.Burke And Hare (IMDB – 6.1/10)

Two 19th century grave robbers who find a lucrative business providing cadavers for an Edinburgh medical school. Personally, this film will divide people as some will like this and some don’t. It might be a little brutal but it doesn’t go over the top, it more focus on the comedy aspect and that works perfectly, the chemistry between Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis is spot on. The ending is superb and at least this film stands out, it will surprise many people.

1.The Electrical Life Of Louis Wain (IMDB- 6.8/10)

English artist Louis Wain rises to prominence at the end of the 19th century for his surreal cat paintings that seemed to reflect his declining sanity. One of the best Benedict Cumberbatch film as this is surprisingly good. It might be weird and surreal but it needed that in this film, it about life in general and people will relate to that, it is life affirming and it will touch people heart. you will care about with these characters; it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
