After losing her beloved father, Helen finds herself saved by an unlikely friendship with a stubborn hawk named Mabel. One of those film that will draw you in from start to finish. The acting is convincing and believable plus relatable; I do like the unlikely friendship aspect. The story and the idea behind this film is superb, those are the positives: it doesn’t offer you anything new or fresh as this can feel too safe and too predictable, it doesn’t gel or flow together as much. Despite that this will move you as it doesn’t feel too sentimental and that is the key, if you get past these flaws, it still a pretty good film.
