Save The Cinema
The story of Liz Evans from Carmarthen, Wales, who campaigned to save the Lyric Cinema in 1993. A well-made film with a good cast as they all convince in their roles. The idea and the story behind this film is superb, might not offer you anything new or fresh. It feels too safe and too predictable, despite that this is a crowd pleaser type of film, it is certainly watchable.
Lou (2022)
As a storm rages, a young girl is kidnapped. Her mother teams up with the mysterious woman next door to pursue the kidnapper, a journey that tests their limits and exposes shocking secrets from their pasts. I do like the unlikely friendship aspect and that is important. Silently this film will draw you in, the violence can overshadowed the film itself, also it falters just a little bit despite that: the chemistry between the two star is spot on, this is pretty good.
Four Weddings And A Funeral
Over the course of five social occasions, a committed bachelor must consider the notion that he may have discovered love. Feel good British film with a good cast. It can be funny in places with this film; it might not offer you anything new or fresh, it can feel too safe and too predictable, if you get past that this is a crowd pleaser film, it isn’t a bad film as this is watchable.
Caramelo
After a life- changing diagnosis, a promising chef finds hope and humour with the help of a fur – midable dog friend. Cute and heartwarming film that will capture people heart. This is silently powerful and relatable at the same time, it never feels too sentimental and too forced and that is the key, for me personally I found the ending slightly weak, but overall, this is a superb film.
The Rip
A group of Miami cops discovers a stash of millions in cash, leading to distrust an outsiders learn about the huge seizure, making them question who to rely on. Too be honest with you I was surprised with this film. it is surprisingly good and it will draw you in, the only thing with this film the violence can be slightly over the top toward the end, if you get past that this is totally unpredictable, it has got a fantastic cast and overall, this is a well-made film.
Everything’s Going To Be Great
A year in the life of the Smart family as they struggle with over – sized dreams, identity, ghosts and regional theatre. You will care about with these characters in this quirky film. it might be weird and surreal in places and for me personally it needed it, it has got some nice moment in this film, this will move you as this is silently powerful. It might not gel or flow together as much, if you wanted a film that will surprised you this is ideal for you.
