10.Unbroken ( Angelina Jolie)

Chronicles the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic athlete in the 1936 Berlin Olympics – turned – WWII plane crash survivor and prisoner in two Japanese POW camps. I watched this film in the past and I thought it was pretty good. The casting is perfect as they all convince in their roles, this feels epic and it will draw you in, this could be hard to watch for some people; if you get past that this is based on a true story, if you are a fan of true story type of film this is ideal.
9.Cinderella (Kenneth Branagh)

Ella resides with her abusive stepmother and her daughters who continuously make her suffer at home. Her life changes when she meets a handsome man of nobility who gives her a chance to become free. Being a Disney film this will divide people. The CGI/SFX look realistic and eye catching, it is an inoffensive film that will capture people heart, this is perfectly watchable as this is a charming film, the story is simple as this is quietly heartfelt.
8.Lady Bird (Greta Gerwig)

As senior years comes to an end, Lady Bird must strive to navigate through the ups and downs in her relationships while trying to get into a prestigious college and become popular. A coming-of-age film which is well – made. The acting is superb as they all convince in their roles, it is genuinely heartfelt and it does have some nice moment, the story is easy to follow as it got a superb ending, this is a slow burner type of film that will surprised people.
7.Gran Torino (Clint Eastwood)

After a Hmong teenager tries to steal his prized 1972 Gran Torino, a disgruntled, prejudiced Korean War veteran seeks to redeem both the boy and himself. Gran Torino is quietly powerful and you will care about with these characters. The ending is beautiful and it will capture people heart, this is certainly memorable from start to finish, it never feels forced or too sentimental and that is the key, it will leaves you a lasting impression on you.
6.Charlie’s Angels (Elizabeth Banks)

When a young systems engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, Charlie’s Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect us all. Don’t judge this film on the reviews. This is fun and entertaining at the same time, this is action packed but it never loses the story and that is the key, it might not be groundbreaking but at least it didn’t take itself too seriously, this will divide people and overall this film is pretty good.
5.The Company You Keep (Robert Redford)

Jim Grant, a member of an anti – Vietnam War militant group, is accused of bank robbery. He works as an attorney in New York and has eluded the FBI for 30 years. Then, a young reporter exposes him. Fantastic film that slowly draw you in. there are twist and turn as this is an unpredictable film, the casting is spot on and totally believable, this is certainly memorable from start to finish; this is another film which has got a brilliant ending, this is superb film.
4.Don’t Worry Darling (Olivia Wilde)

Jack and Alice’s ideal life in the quaint town of Victory begins to unfurl as she starts questioning her surroundings. It ultimately leads her to clash with the founder of the place, Frank. Even if it weird and surreal it needed that in this film. it tries to be something different which I admire, it’s the story that made this film worth watching, the casting is perfect and totally convincing; once you watch this film you will always remember this, this film deserves a chance.
3.Quartet (Dustin Hoffman)

Reggie, Wilf, Cissy and Jean are members of a quartet that vowed never to sing again. But things take a turn when they have to perform in order to save their retirement home for musicians. Joyous and uplifting film that will made you smile. it is funny and charming as the same time, it is an underdog type of film which is a crowd pleaser, it is an all-British film which is heartwarming; for me personally it’s the casting that made this film good, this is enjoyable.
2.Goodbye June (Kate Winslet)

Follows a group of fractured siblings who must come together under sudden and trying circumstances. Kate Winslert made her directed debut with this film. This is pretty impressive with an all – star cast, it is a Christmas film and it never feels forced or too sentimental, it can be funny in places as Timothy Spall is silently superb; it is surprisingly good and I reckon it will surprised many people, this is heartfelt and moving at the same time.
1.IF (John Krasinski)

A young girl who goes through a difficult experience begins to see everyone’s imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real – life friends have grown up. Calming type of film which you needed. It about life in general and people will relate to that, it might not be for everyone but this charming and heartfelt, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing; the CGI/SFX is realistic, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
