A black comedy about two nineteenth century grave robbers, who find a lucrative business providing cadavers for an Edinburgh medical school. There is a load of well know star in this bright and breezy film that the main two lead got really good chemistry together and it certainly work, it blended the comedy with a light touch of horror in this well-intentioned film.

9.Home Alone (1990 – 1992)

One year after Kevin McCallister was left home alone and had to defeat a pair of bumbling burglars and then in the second film he accidentally finds himself stranded in New York with the same criminals are not far behind him. Overall both films really capture the spirit of Christmas/ holiday type of film, it has all the element of a family film that has the entertainment value and the comedy aspect from Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci are absolutely hilarious and the invented prank on them both, be a sure fire hit with all the family.

8.101 Dalmatians

An evil high – fashion designer plots to steal Dalmatian puppies in order to make an extravagant fur coat, but instead creates an extravagant mess. You don’t have to be a dog fan to like this film as it is a family film mixed in with a bit of comedy, brilliantly acted and especially from Hugh Lawrie and Mark Williams as them work really well together and their comic timing is spot on and the story is a really good one in this lovely film.

7.School Of Rock

After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher at an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. A usual film for the underdog that just making you smile in this slice of escapism, it certainly capture a feel good type of vibe in this watchable film and the stars is really good in this film, as it is a family film and you can watch this on a rainy day.

6.Kindergarten Cop

A tough cop must pose as a Kindergarten teacher in order to locate a dangerous criminal’s ex – wife who may hold the key to putting him behind bars. I know this film might be rather dated to some people but it certainly made you laugh and chuckle at the same time, the story of this film is a good one and also it definitely watchable from start to finish in this good nature film.

5.Bean The Ultimate Disaster Movie

The bumbling Mr. Bean travels to America when he is given the responsibility of bringing a highly valuable painting to a Los Angeles museum. A funny and an amusing film that bring all the family together that the watchable Rowan Atkinson as he is stunning as the part of Mr. Bean as he fully capture the character very well in this story that just suited the film and the pace, it is a sweet nature film and with the best intentioned.

4.Shrek (2001 – 2010)

A mean lord exiles fairy tale creature to the swamp of a grumpy ogre, who go on a journey and meet colourful characters along the way with so many adventures and eventually fallen in love. A laugh out loud type of film and the voice casting is excellent and especially Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy who got the right chemistry and spot on comic timing, there are an all-star voice casting which certainly spot on in this colourful film.

3.Chicken Run

When a cockerel apparently flies into a chicken farm, the chicken s see him as an opportunity to escape their evil owners. This is a British animation film which cliché of other film and that certainly bring an authentic and a lay back film, with array of well know voices that just blended very well in this cute animation film.

2.Lemony Snickets: A Series Of Unfortunate Events

When a massive fire kills their parents, three children are delivered to the custody of cousin and stage actor Count Olaf, who is secretly plotting to steal their parents vast fortune. A majestic and a cosy film that bring you to a magic world of well know people in their suitable role, especially the devilish Jim Carrey who play Count Olaf as he is magnificent and unrecognizable at the same time with funny one liners, the ending of the film is so hilarious.

1.Paddington (2014 – 2017)

Paddington having settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, has become popular in his community, offering people emotional support in various ways. A perfect family friendly film that will delight with adults and kids and this is one of those film that everyone can connect to and have a laugh with, especially with Paddington antics as he is a bit of idiot but mean well and wanted to help people in the process and this is a superbly made film that everybody will fallen in love with.
