10.The Shape Of Water

At a top-secret research facility in the 1960s, a lonely janitor forms a unique relationship with an amphibious creature that is being held in captivity. Well this is a different take on the Fairy Tale genre and this is strictly for adults, it is so weird, different, new and totally fresh which is really good. It is extraordinary and this is so memorable and it has got a stellar cast and they are really good, in a thought-provoking film that will made you think.
9.Sleepy Hollow

Ichabod Crane is sent to Sleepy Hollow to investigate the decapitations of three people, with the culprit being the legendary apparition, The Headless Horseman. A dark Fairy Tale that not quite suitable for kids and this film will automatically drawn you in from the first frame, it is a period piece which superbly crafted with creepy atmosphere and it is a character driven type of film, it has got a brilliant story and it is certainly watchable.
8.Stardust

In a countryside town bordering on a magical land, a young man makes a promise to this beloved that he’ll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm. Magnificent cinematography, the chemistry between the main two lead and a story that is so simple and with great visual. It is well intentioned with all – star cast that bring you an engaging but thoroughly entertaining film.
7.Hook

When Captain James Hook kidnaps his children, an adult Peter Pan must return to Neverland and reclaim his youthful spirit in order to challenge his old enemy. It is such a shame that Robin Williams died as he is so good in a dream like film that is so colourful, Dustin Hoffman is perfectly sinister as the villainous Captain Hook and this film is so good and fun at the same time.
6.Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil

Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials. Better than average than I anticipating and this is surprisingly good, it definitely much better than the first one and the visual is certainly out of this world. It is one of those film that can balance the lighter elements with the darker aspect and it is generally really moving, in this well-made film.
5.Narnia (2005 – 2010)

Four kids travel through a wardrobe to the land of Narnia and learn of their destiny to free it with the guidance of a mystical lion, as they go on numerous adventures around the realm of Narnia. Gorgeous looking adventure yarn that mixed with the war element and the colourful world of Narnia itself, it is stunningly beautiful with amazing SFX/CGI which made this film an eye opener with the acting is absolutely amazing, it is worthwhile viewing and you should checked it out.
4.Alice Through The Looking Glass

Alice returns to the whimsical world of Wonderland and travels back in time to help the Mad Hatter. Colourful and eccentric characters in a magic world that will bring you an engrossing look in a weird and wonderful film, it is slightly weird but it blended in with the lighter moment with the darker aspect of this film. Definitely not suitable for the younger generation but it definitely suitable for teenagers who wanted something different, in this well-made film.
3.Tangled

The magically long – haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to discover the world for the first time, and who she really is. The Vocal talent in this animation film is certainly spot on and with superb comic timing, the soundtrack is also brilliant in a well-crafted story that is so suitable for all ages and especially kids. It is one of those beautiful animation films which have a really good message about love never died, in a beautiful and totally underrated film.
2.Beauty And The Beast

A selfish Prince is cursed to become a monster for the rest of his life, unless he learns to fall in love with a beautiful young woman he keeps prisoner. Star Studded cast which certainly got brilliant singing voice and the musical aspect to this film is truly spectacular, the visual is amazing in this masterpiece and tuneful and a generally spectacular and colourful film.
1.Puss In Boots

An outlaw cat, his childhood egg – friend and a seductive thief Kitty set out in search for the eggs of the fabled Golden Goose to clear his name, restore his lost honour and regain the trust of his mother and town. The reason why for this film as my number one it has all the element of a perfect family film which all ages will enjoy this film, it has all the cliché of other films and it is certainly enjoyable from start to finish in this endearing film that is so heartfelt. Antonio Banderas is spot on as Puss In Boots and the rest of the vocal talent is outstanding.
This is another genre that I don’t know much about, but I have seen The shape of Water and Sleepy Hollow and agree with you that they are very good films.
