A talented runner form a rough part of London joins the British track team and races for glory at the World Championships. One of the good things about this film is the main five lead are women and that is the reason why we needed more female driven type of film, the other reason is this film also made you smile as it is a true underdog sport film. It is feel good and it is likeable in a film that will ring true to people.

9.Easy A

A clean-cut high school student relies on the school’s rumour mill to advance her social and financial standing. Some people will like this and some don’t but I personally love it as it basically about people making assumption and have a huge expectation plus prejudge on an individual, I actually connect to this message and people should just focus on that message on the film itself, it is well casted and with a likeable main lead.

8.Eddie The Eagle

The story of Eddie Edwards, the notoriously tenacious British underdog ski jumper who charmed the world at the 1988 Winter Olympics. If you wanted something easy to watch this is ideal for you, it is warm, funny and engaging with Taron Egerton is totally unrecognisable and really good. It also about chasing your dream and conquering it while everyone will love you in the process, I’m sure everyone been there and feel connected to this film.

7.Paddington (2014 – 2017)

Paddington having settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, has become popular in his community, offering people emotional support in various ways. Definitely a pick me up type of film if you ever feeling depressed, nothing to do or even a rainy day just put this film on. It also have a theme of family is family and that is everything and mixing of loving each other, it is so suitable for all ages in this fun and heartfelt film.

6.Love, Simon

Simon Spier keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends and all of his classmates: he’s gay. When that secret is threatened, Simon must face everyone and come to terms with his identity. A really important film as it about someone sexuality and he beginning to come out of his shell and I’m sure everyone around the world would connect to this film, the acting is amazing and really sensitive and this is the key to this majestic film.

5.Eat Pray Love

A married woman realizes how unhappy her marriage really is, and that her life needs to go in a different direction. After a painful divorce, she takes off on around the world journey to find herself. Poignancy, moving, beautiful and a sincere film that will capture people heart and it is well casted. The cinematography is outstanding with a beautiful story and it is about finding yourself and be comfortable with your surroundings, it is a well-made film.

4.The Hate U Give

Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. Now, facing pressure from all sides of the community, Starr must find her voice and stand up for what’s right. Untimely powerful and totally memorable in this thought-provoking film, it is one of those film that has a lasting effect on you straight after this film and it has a nice message of standing up for yourself and just believe in yourself and do what right, in a film that is totally underrated and it is so good and highly recommended.

3.Inside Out

After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school. Generally funny and heartfelt with great characters and the vocal talent is superb, I also love the concept as it is so different and fresh and that is the key to this film. I personally love the aspect of the growing up and your adolescent and remembering all of your memories and some new memories in the process, it is a well-meaning film.

2.My Octopus Teacher

A filmmaker forges an unusual friendship with an octopus living in a South African kelp forest, learning as the animal shares the mysteries of her world. Well it might be weird for some people but you will automatically fallen in love with this documentary, it certainly drawn you in from start to finish and this will change your life as it is life affirming, it is one of those film that will ring true to many people as this is magnificent and a majestic film.

1.Ferdinand

After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. The reason why I put this film first it has all the element of a perfect family film and it suitable for all ages, the moral to this film is just be yourself and be the odd one out and for me personally I can connect to this film because of the message and the soundtrack is amazing, it definitely much better than the Rio and Ice Age films as this one is far more superior.
