A young couple, Katie and Micah, move into a new home and Micah records their life on his video camera. After strange events in the night, Katie admits that as a young child, she had once experience a ghostly presence in her room. I’m not normally a massive fan of demonic type of film but this one is seriously really good, it is one of those horror films that crept under your skin and it is unnerving with tension and that what made this horror film really unique.

9.The Secret Of Marrowbone

In 1960s rural America, a young man and his younger siblings, who have kept secret the death of their beloved mother in order to remain together, are plagued by a sinister presence in the sprawling manor in which they live. A psychological supernatural film which is totally unpredictable and with stunning acting, the premise and the twist certainly made this so watchable and it will drawn you in from start to finish.

8.Up In The Air

Ryan Bingham is a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles, and just after he’s met the frequent – traveller woman of his dreams. Smart, engaging, witty and totally fresh in this clever satire, it can be moving and with an all – star cast that bring a well-meaning film.

7.Fast Girls

A street-smart runner develops an intense rivalry with an equally ambitious wealthy young athlete. With an all-British cast that involved with this film and it is an underdog type of film, it also a feel-good film that you would rooted for these characters and the good thing is all the main people are women, which is so important for this generation in this simple but an uplifting film.

6.Earth To Echo

After receiving a bizarre series of encrypted messages, a group of kids embark on an adventure with an alien who needs their help. Coming of age mixed in with Indie type of film you would get this, the non-professional cast are excellent in this found footage type of film which made this a compelling watch and with fantastic soundtrack. The ending is poignancy and really moving at the same time, in this enjoyable film.

5.The Impossible

The story of a tourist family in Thailand caught in the destruction and chaotic aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. One of those film that blended with Indie mixed in with a true-life disaster film, it based on a true story and it is one of those film that will wowed you as it is powerful and poignancy. Brilliantly acted in a gripping and compelling film which is basically about hope and never giving up and everyone been there.

4.We Bought A Zoo

Set in Southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re – open a struggling zoo. This is simply a beautifully made film which is suitable for all ages and it also a family viewing as well, Matt Damon character is very likeable and the cast got wonderful chemistry, a simple film which is quietly powerful with an amazing soundtrack.

3.Everybody’s Fine

A widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife sets off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children. Well this is a crowd pleaser of a film that everyone been there, it also ring true for certain people in a sincere and a wonderful film that will touch people heart and it is so relatable.

2.Nomadland

Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern – day nomad. Stunning scenery with one of my favourite film of 2021 as it is poignancy and moving at the same time, the soundtrack is amazing and it is totally unpredictable which is a good thing and it is one of those film that has a lasting impression on you, as this film is so memorable.

1.The Bucket List

Two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to – dos before they die. The reason why this film is my number one it ring true to me because of the friendship aspect because at first they didn’t get on at first, but suddenly when they starting talking they gel and Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman is absolutely amazing, this film is life affirming and people actually connect to this special and totally underrated film.
