Adventures Of Rufus: The Fantastic Pet

Scott and Emily are at his grandmother’s home when they suddenly discover a mysterious creature. They have a mission: with the help of an ancient spell book. I really like the genre of this film so I thought this going to be really good, but it ended up it feel like a one of program on television over the holidays. It not exciting or thrilled you whatsoever and it just average trying to be too safe and it not enchanted enough and it just too everywhere.

The Mauritanian

Mohamedou Ould Slahi fights for freedom after being detained and imprisoned without charge by the U.S. Government for years. This film got potential and with an all – star cast but the whole film in whole is rather unfocused and too uneven, the thing is you don’t feel anything for these characters or even the prisoner and the pacing is all wrong as it is too long, it loses some momentum and it is too predictable and you would guess the ending and it doesn’t drawn you in from the start.

Birds Of Prey

After splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord. One of those film that is really excessive with the violence and it too hard to watch with certain moment in the film, I personally think this film isn’t suitable for Margot Robbie as she is too nice, overall with this film it will divided people.

Blue Miracle

To save their cash – strapped orphanage, a guardian and his kid partner with a washed – up boat captain for a chance to win a lucrative fishing competition. Definitely one of the most disappointing film as the film is trying to hard and being too safe and too predictable, it meant to be inspiration but with no backstory to key characters in this film and you ended up not really care for them.

Missing Link

Mr Link recruits explorer Sir Lionel Frost to help find his long – lost relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri – La. Along with adventurer Adelina Fortnight, this trio of explorers travel the world to help their new friend. A well intentioned and well-meaning film that is so likeable, it not laugh out loud funny but the voice cast is just okay but nothing exceptional as there is no funny one liners. It is not the best film but you still have a good time with this film.

Away (2019)

A boy and a little bird are travelling across an island on a motorcycle trying to escape a dark spirit and return home. Do not judge this film of how it look and this is strangely moving with stunning visual, the story is really simple and it can be over weird for the younger generation but I found it really engrossing and I really admire of how different this film is. I would highly recommended it to other people who appreciated different style of film.

Tarzan (2013)

Tarzan and Jane Porter face a mercenary army dispatched by the evil CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan’s parents, after they died in a plane crash. Visually stunning with a story that is suitable for all ages and a family viewing type of film, it is touching, moving and heartfelt with a cool soundtrack and great character driven and I would very happily to show it to any kids as it blended the lighter moment with the darker aspect to this film, it is worthwhile to checking out as this one is standing out and really different.

I haven’t seen any of these films, but it looks like there are a lot to avoid anyway.
Away looks interesting.
