10.Hitch
A smooth – talking man falls for a hardened columnist while helping a shy accountant woo a beautiful heiress. It is one of those romantic film which is easy to watch and it is funny and heartfelt at the same time, it might not be for everyone but the chemistry between the stars is really good and the whole film in whole is well intentioned.
9.Men In Black
A police officer joins a secret organization that polices and monitors extra-terrestrial interactions on Earth. One of those film that you always remember as this is so memorable and with stunning CGI/SFX as they are so realistic, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones got chemistry together and they are really good, this is pure escapism and really entertaining.
8.Hancock
Hancock is a superhero whose ill – considered behaviour regularly causes damage in the millions. He changes when the person he saves helps him improve his public image. A different take on the superhero tale and I just really admire this film as it is so different, it is well made with stunning set pieces in an underrated film.
7.Independence Day
The aliens are coming and their goal is to invade and destroy Earth. Fighting superior technology, mankind’s best weapon is the will to survive. Definitely a classic film which is so watchable, it might be a long film but the pacing is perfect and this film won’t bored you whatsoever. The scenery is outstanding and this film will certainly wowed you from start to finish, in a crowd-pleasing film that is so watchable.
6.I Am Legend
Years after a plague kills most of humanity and transforms the rest into monsters, the sole survivor in New York City struggles valiantly to find a cure. You actually care about with these characters and in certain films they just rushed it, not this one as it take it time to know the people. it is truly spectacular and so memorable as this is totally unpredictable and with an ending that you didn’t expected and it is so engrossing.
5.Enemy Of The State
A lawyer becomes targeted by a corrupt politician and his N.S.A. goons when he accidentally receives key evidence to a politically motivated crime. Everything you wanted in a political action film that is totally outstanding and it is well casted, the story and the plot never got too overcomplicated and the pacing is just right. It is action packed that is so exciting and that is one of the thing that Enemy Of The State bring you.
4.I, Robot
In 2035, a technophobic cop investigates a crime that may have been perpetrated by a robot, which leads to a larger threat to humanity. Futuristic action thriller film that is thought provoking and it is totally action packed, it is one of those action film that made you think and with a brilliant ending and the visual is certainly out of this world.
3.Concussion
In Pittsburgh, accomplished pathologist Dr Bennett Omalu uncovers the truth about brain damage in football players who suffer repeated concussions in the course of normal play. Concussion is one of those film you don’t needed to be a fan of American football, it is engrossing and heartfelt which bring you a sincere and a fascinating film which is based on a true story.
2.The Pursuit Of Happyness
A struggling salesman takes custody of his son as he’s poised to begin a life – changing professional career. Life affirming and generally uplifting film that will capture people heart and it is so relatable, it also about never giving up and have hope during the hard time and I can connect to this message and the acting in generally is simply outstanding.
1.Shark Tale
When a son of a gangster shark boss is accidentally killed while on the hunt, his would be prey and his vegetarian brother decide to use the incident to their own advantage. The reason why I picked this film first it has all the elements for a family viewing and it suitable for all ages, it might not be for everyone but I love the message of don’t let fame get to your head and don’t ruined your reputation and be that individual. I actually connect with that aspect and it is really funny with comic one liner and it is heartfelt.
