1962 Baltimore, Elisa Esposito, found abandoned as a baby with scars on her neck, has been mute all her life, that disability which has largely led to her not having opportunities. She also forms a unique relationship with an amphibious creature that is being held in captivity. In this gloomy and really effective film, which is attractive to look at in this strange and somehow moving film that will drawn you in from start to finish.

9.Me Before You

Louisa Clark is a small-town girl who knows a lot about people around her. Will is a quadriplegic man who hates everyone around him. Louisa is hired by Will’s mum to take care of him for six months. Personally there are certain things that work perfect for this film, they are a fantastic soundtrack, the acting is amazing and it is one of those film, which is well intentioned, some people might find the story slightly insensitive but it is a well-made film.

8.The Peanut Butter Falcon

When Zak (22), a young man with Down Syndrome, runs away from the nursing home where he lives to chase his dream of becoming a professional wrestler, he also befriend Tyler (32), a small-time outlaw on the run. With Shia LaBeouf and Zack Gottsagen easy chemistry that work really well and truly remarkable, the acting in general is totally amazing and with a good story and that is the key to this film.

7.The Elephant Man

A Victorian surgeon rescues a heavily disfigured man who is mistreated while scraping a living as a side show freak. Behind his monstrous façade, there is revealed a person of kindness, intelligent and sophistication. A fascinating film that is poignancy and moving and with unrecognizable John Hurt, the whole film in whole is stunning and so memorable.

6.A Quiet Place

In a post – apocalyptic world, a family is forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra – sensitive hearing. Some people might think this isn’t a film about disabilities type of film but it has got some aspect of sign language, the other thing is this film has got an actress who play the daughter she actually partly deaf in real life, in a highly compelling and watchable film.

5.Avatar

A paraplegic marine dispatched to the moon Pandora on a unique mission becomes torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home. One of the best James Cameron film as this one is different, with out of this world visual of CGI/SFX made this a gorgeous looking film.

4.The Theory Of Everything

In the 1960s, Cambridge University student and future physicist Stephen Hawking falls in love with fellow collegian Jane Wilde. At 21, Hawking learns that he has motor neuron disease. Despite this – and with Jane at his side he begins an ambitious study of time. Everything about this film is absolutely powerful and it is so beautiful, Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones are magnificent and it is ultimately uplifting and sad at the same time, overall this is a generally heartfelt film.

3.Rising Phoenix

The history and current standing of the Paralympic Games, which has grown to become the world’s third largest sporting event. Really powerful and generally poignancy that you will always remember this documentary, their stories really hit you and you would actually connect with these people and it is one of the best documentaries.

2.Crip Camp

Down the road from Woodstock, a revolution blossomed at a ramshackle summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, transforming their lives and igniting a landmark movement. Life affirming and this will change your life forever, you will see different perspective from other people and you will always remember this sincere documentaries. It is quietly moving, powerful and really beautiful that it will capture people heart.

1.The Secret Garden (1993)

Young Mary Lennox is orphaned by an earthquake in India and sent to England to live with her uncle, first she finds an overgrown secret garden and second that she has a Cousin Colin Craven, a sickly boy who has been told he must remain in bed out of the daylight at all times. The reason why I picked this film first it is suitable for all ages and a perfect family viewing, the other reason why this is enchanted and in a majestic and beautiful film which is well – made.
